My sister and I stayed at the Super 8 in PG earlier this week. We found the staff to be courteous and friendly. The decor is awesomely tropical with plenty of greenery, running water, fountains, and atmosphere. The garden area includes a swimming pool and a couple hot tubs - we didn't have time for either, but others seemed to be enjoying them. Our room was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. Free Wifi is part of the package. One area that could use some updating and sprucing up would be the bathroom - it could use new flooring, a hook on the door, more counter space, etc. This Super 8 offers a $5 off coupon for breakfast in the dining area. We enjoyed that both mornings. The food was delicious, service was fast and friendly. On our second morning the waiter even sat for a minute and chatted with us. The manager (sorry, don't recall his name) was also friendly, chatty and informative. No complaints from us. We intend to stay there if/when back in the area.

We stayed here 2 times in June. 1st room was updated somewhat. I was really surprised to not have a microwave in the room. Every hotel I have stayed in for the last 20 years has had it's own microwave. It has a cool tropical vibe with the plants. The pool was a little chilly but the kids didnt care. The one available hotub was warm at the hottest and jets were less than jetty. There's 2 unused hot tubs there. 2nd room was more dated. AC didn't work and we sweated all night. Couldn't change rooms because it was full. After some check outs they moved us over a room no problem. AC worked in there. They offered a $5 off breakfast in the restaurant until the 2nd morning of our 2nd stay then said they are no longer offering it and only the paper bag breakfast was offered. We decided to pay full price for the breakfast because it is still a good value and the food and staff are great. We were told a renovation is about to start. We'll see how it goes if we need to come stay again.

The room was dark. Bed was kinda hard. The TV was positioned away from the bed so it was actually difficult to watch. The bathroom was not that clean. I found some hair strands. At least it had toiletries. My booking included free breakfast but the breakfast came in a paper bag with a box of small cereal, a fruit juice and a fruit cup. Not really the breakfast that I wanted.

What an absolute joke this hotel has become. My room was added on recently by the stairs and is so cheaply made. Breakfast was basically non-existent, you would get better food at a hospital. I showed up at midnight and they wouldn't give me late check out with out charging me $30. (never has that happend to me here before or any hotel when I show up that late). Pool was freezing with no hottubs or steam room. Worst hotel experience in years and I live on the road. I highly recommend you keep driving and don't let the cheap prices fool you because the esters/super 8 this place used to be is loooooooooong gone. The hotel response to this is automated and its clear to me not one person cares about this hotel, the rooms, or the well being of their guests. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Pictures are so deceiving. If a pool is closed for renovations or inspection it should be disclosed to patrons when they are booking. Even though the pool is closed the echo through the foyer is very disturbing. This hotel seems to appeal to a certain class of clientele, would not ever suggest this hotel as family friendly or polite service. When waiting in line at the front desk listening to another patron complaining that people were smoking outside her room the reception basically dismissed her and said the hotel was a no smoking facility, when she asked for a microwave she was told to use the one in the common area. When we asked if the pool was closed and why it was not suggested at time of booking we were told they were not required to tell us. The toilet may as well be in the bath tub. Thank god it is one night and our appointment is first thing in the morning and we will not be back.

I will never be returning to this place, I had to tell the staff around 12:30 at night to take it somewhere else than doing selfies in the restaurant outside our room. I had to tell the security guard to move people off the property that we’re looking in windows because he was too busy on his phone sitting in the front lobby. Our beds were like 800 pound people slept in them before us and they were diverted in the middle. They should’ve been thrown out probably a decade ago.
No toilet paper in the room had to ask, and it felt like we were inconveniencing the staff at the time. This place has seriously gone downhill since I’ve always been a customer of this business, but I noticed since the change of hands and management that this is all occurred. I’ve tried to reach out to the manager for the last week with her being blocked from the front end staff it’s not a problem. I’ll never give my money back to this resort again, and I will never recommend it in the position that I have.

We arrived after a long day traveling and even though we were there after the check in time of 16:00 our rooms weren’t available.
We were then informed that our rooms would be on different floors even though we requested same floor rooms due to our teenagers being in the second room.
Reception staff were both confused and unable to find a solution.
The breakfast advertised in the rate is a snack bag containing a juice, granola bar and a fruit salad.
Advertising breakfast included is both misleading and wrong.
We stayed at plenty of places that advertised the same and offered a warm breakfast- this place most certainly does not!
Out of all the places we stayed over a 10 day tour this was bar far the worst, and we were staggered by the lack of service and attention to detail.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on 3 separate occasions, for up to a week, whilst my husband was working in the area.
The hotel is very central, close to the airport and shopping centres.
The rooms were comfortable and very clean.
The air conditioning was very good and greatly appreciated during the recent heatwave.
The hotel staff were very helpful , friendly and personable. They always helped with any request or query that we had. We were also fortunate enough to have an early check in during our Last stay and late check outs too, which we greatly appreciated. The house keeping staff were also very helpful, friendly and kind and always provided clean towels and anything else that we needed.
Breakfast was included in the price, which was a takeaway breakfast or a $5 voucher to use un the restaurant in the hotel. We used the restaurant most days and also had evening meals there a few times. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
The hotel has an indoor swimming pool that we didn't have time to use.
There is also a laundry room within the hotel, which we used every day to wash my husband's uniform.
We highly recommend this hotel for all the above reasons.

I am a young local who needed a last minute hotel due to my rental water heater breaking down. I am so happy I booked here. Highly recommend to couples who want a getaway or girlfriends that want a mini vacation retreat. This is not your normal hotel, this is the next best thing to being on vacation in Hawaii or Bali while still being in Prince George. As soon as you walk in, you're welcomed by a rainforest of lucious tropical plants. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating with my conditions. And they had great recommendations for food at the restaurant. The restaurant was wonderful and tasty with great specials. I felt relaxed here, the rooms are very clean, beds are comfy and the atmosphere when walking through the pathways and bridges surrounded by little ponds and plants is very unique. I will be back and definitely telling friends about this.

We were horrified to find bed bugs in our room (and we had already been there 3 nights). We have found multiple bites since. Everything we had with us has been quarantined to ensure that we didn't bring anything home with us. The management has been very apologetic and refunded our money but I wish I would have known.
