Home away from home, the moment we walked in we were greeted by a wonderful lady named Cindy, she was so warm and welcoming She upgraded our rooms, gave us suggestions on where to eat and go tour on our down time, the views are spectacular! The room came with binoculars, they were tastefully updated, with all the trimmings, didn’t want for anything The bedding was soft and luxurious, my only complaint was the bed was really soft I like something firmer personally This hotel was a really nice little breakfast included, the lady gets whatever you like and then you settle in for a beautiful ocean view to sip your coffee in the dining area This hotel is perfectly located everything in walking distance I hope I have to go back for work soon!

Picked this hotel as it is only a few minutes from the BC ferry terminal. Good standard, lovely comfortable bed and bedroom. Hotel was clean all the way through. Young receptionist was helpful with local knowledge. Felt safe all the time, walked to Tim Hortons for food. Can’t fault the place, excellent value for money.

A lot of positives for this hotel. I will start with the negatives, parking is tight and if you have a large vehicle like a long bed truck there are very few places it will fit. Also, can hear people in other rooms. Positives, after a two night stay waiting to take the ferry, everyone working the front desk have been very friendly. I suggest asking for a room on the top floor facing the harbor, the views are very good even though the weather was not the best during our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was roomy and plenty of hot water. There are probably 20 places to eat in easy walking distance. If we are in the area again, will definitely be back.

So pleased we chose this hotel, our stay was absolutely wonderful. Had a harbour view king room and it was spotlessly clean with an awesome view. Spent hours sat on the love seat watching all the happenings in the harbour. Breakfast was very good with the lady making your pancakes etc. Will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Rupert.

This is an old hotel that was renovated and brought into the 2020s. Other motels should see what they did amd copy it. Sure a hallway here and there is narrow, but that is hard to change. Everything in the rooms was redone. Good job. Dogs barking is annoying. Breakfast has almost nothing Gluten free. You can walk to half the city, great location.

We stayed here for 2 nights before heading out to Khutzeymateen. We booked direct and got a good price! Location is very handy - it's directly across the road from the Air Canada arrivals/departures terminal (buses take you to and from the island airport from here) so no cabs or long walks with bags. It is also walking distance to all amenities: Tim Hortons, WalMart, restaurants, marina etc . The walk can be hilly in Prince Rupert, so keep this in mind if you have mobility or stamina issues. Our room had a huge picture window facing the harbour and there are binoculars in the room so you can try to spot wildlife. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot and powerful and adequate towel supply. Check-in and Check-out were smooth and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is water, tea and coffee available in the lobby throughout the day and the breakfast had the typical yoghurt, packaged and non-packaged baked goods, apples, bananas etc. There is also a small deck outside this eating area where you can sit and look out onto the harbour. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

From the easiest check in/out to the personal touches that were provided, we loved this hotel! Early out to fish? no problem, they will drop a bagged breakfast for you from their breakfast bar outside your door at 5am. Comfy beds, nicely renovated bathrooms and friendly staff. We'll be back for sure!

We stayed here between ferry rides between Port Hardy and Haida Gwaii. It was a midnight check in which they are well versed with. A nice breakfast in the morning. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet. We had reserved for three people however there was only two towels in the room, I know we could have asked for more but it wasn't needed. One thing I recommend is to call them directly to book. When waiting for check in there was three people ahead of me checking into the same room type. I overheard their total which was $100 less than what I was quoted online. When I got up to the counter I asked why they were paying so much less than me and was told that I booked through a booking engine so that's what I have to pay and they can't adjust my rate. When I got to the room I discovered their wifi code is 'book direct' I took that as a little bit of a jab for those that don't book directly with them lol. Now I know for next time.

We arrived at 1am from the ferry. Taxi was only $10 and that was with dropping off another couple at another hotel. Check in was friendly and brought us a kettle right away so we could make tea. No restaurant but continental breakfast included. Comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet and walking distance to everything. They even prepared take out breakfasts for us as we were catching the train at 6am.

Arrived late on the ferry from Port Hardy and had chosen this hotel to stay for three nights. Glad we did. Check in was smooth. Our room overlooked the water with a large picture window - almost felt we were on a cruise ship looking out! A cruise ship came into the harbour during our stay. Room was good with a 3 seater couch. Bathroom on the small side but most hotel bathrooms are. Shower had two levels of spray heads to accommodate height. Good size bath towel which is appreciated. Comfortable bed. Breakfast the usual fare and it felt as though they took great care in food handling. Cold water and coffee always available in the lobby and kuerig in the room of course. A good stay.
