Stayed for 8 days at one of the condos. Everything was awesome, service was great, and at a good price. Tons of mountain biking trails directly beside location, as well as a nearby rock climbing crag. Would definitely reccomend!

We came to Red to ski and stayed at a large Cabin. We had the fortune to contact Red Mountain Village directly and got a better price than in any platform. Ask for Val or for Larissa, they are so helpful and a delight to deal with. The Cabins are lovely, so quiet surrounded by trees and with so much snow! Our Cabin almost turned into an igloo after many snow storms, but we never had any trouble with the temperature, the small kitchen, the beds, everything was beyond expectations. We end loving the mountain, Red is a serious place where you really learn to ski trees. If you can ski trees in Red you will be able to ski trees anywhere after; but with so much effort having a welcoming place and a great bathtub to rest is great and the Cabins at Red Mountain Village deliver!

The walk to the lift is a very convenient short trip that worked great as a warm up. Definitely looking forward to come back.

Did a day trip to Red, was surprised by the size and terrain on offer.
Would love to spend more time exploring.
Chairlifts are pretty interesting. Motherload chair lift was old, slow and clunky, almost slid off the way is swings when getting on, so would avoid it if I could.
Enjoyed the skiing till lunch, then became slushie due to warmth.
All in all a fun mountain

We just returned from spending 4 nights at Red Mountain Village in Rossland, BC. The Eagles Nest condo we stayed in was beautiful. Very Clean, well kept and perfect for 3. Markus and Valerie (The Two Managers) are the best! So helpful and courteous! Great to talk with! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We stayed in one of 8 sleeper condos that were part of the Red Mountain Village called the Log Cabin. On arrival, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very clean and the beds were of good quality, nice and firm. We did run into some problems though; the day we arrived they changed the water in the hot tub and put a huge amount of chemicals into the water and did not tell us. This meant that all of our costumes were ruined by the chlorine!
It was quite a small space to share between 8 adults. The kitchen facilities were appalling. The oven hardly worked and there were not enough pots and pans to cook in. I would not recommend this as self catering unless you are just eating breakfasts there.
One of the 3 showers was faulty which meant 4 adults were sharing a tiny bathroom. One evening, our friend reported 2 mice running across his chest while he was lying in bed!!!!!
There is also no washing machine or tumble drier, but they do have a laundry service which is very good.
The skiing is fantastic and there is good access to the mountain from the condo.
I would highly recommend the chicken wings at Rock Cut Restaurant halfway between Rossland and Red.

Plans are already in place for a return stay here this time next year. We needed a new home away from home as our parents sold their home in Rossland and moved out of town. Red Mountain Village did not disappoint; super friendly staff, beautifully furnished, comfy bed, spotless and amazing view of Red. Location is right at the base of the mountain for ski, snow-showing or hiking. Walking distance to Rafters pub. View of Red Mountain from room was breath-taking. Warning: Once you ski red you won't like skiing anywhere else!

Four of us shared a condo in Redstone building, very nice. We cooked breakfast and dinners in, and found the kitchen very well equipped for real cooking, both in terms of space and kitchen items. The unit was basically attractive. We would have appreciated towel racks in the bathrooms, and stronger lighting in the downstairs bath. The hot tub on our deck was enjoyable, looking out toward the mountain. I highly recommend this accommodation.

One of our best winter vacations ever. 250 m from the ski lift, we had a very nice condo style cabin with everything we could need to fix our own meals. There is also a great Italian restaurant, all within the same area.

The snow conditions at Red Mountain were great as was the skiing but what made the trip worth while was the accommodation. The GM, Swizz fellow named Mark, was very helpful and took time to make sure we knew the lay of the land.

We have a very nice condo with hot tub and we didn't need to beak the bank to go. Get your lift tickets at Costco online and you can ski for $45 per person per day.

Its a bit of a long drive from Calgary but 100% worth it.

Room Tip: Get a hot tub - about $30 more each night, but after a hard day of skiing 100% worth the extra $$.

We were visiting Rossland for a wedding this summer and we booked a 3 bedroom condo at Slalom Creek at the base of Red Mountain. It comfortably slept 6 people. 1 room with king bed and ensuite, 1 with a queen, and 1 with 2 double beds. Hot tub on the balcony. Laundry room in the condo. Big family room and dining area.

The condo was clean. Full kitchen. Fridge with ice maker. Decently stocked with pots/pans/cutlery/glasses. Friendly staff. Easy to navigate.

Gym was lacking, but was fine. 7 minute drive from downtown Rossland, or about 35 minute walk along a gravel trail that takes you right to the main street.

We will definitely be staying there every time I visit Rossland in the future.

Our family spent 10 days at Red Mtn Village recently and had a delightful experience. We stayed in the Slalom Creek Condo's which are in the prime location in the Village. The staff was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to accommodate some unique logistical problems we had that required us to reschedule our visit. The condo was clean, very comfortable and had a wonderful view of the mountain. Red Mountain is a pure skiers mountain with great terrain, no crowds and world class Cat Skiing. It is remote and as such difficult to reach but worth the extra effort. The weather is one drawback as this region has frequent cloud cover and inconsistent snow due to it's relatively low elevation compared to many western ski resorts. Of the 10 days we visited, only 1 day of sun and many so cloudy you could barely see anything.

In spite of the visibility issues, this is a very good resort and worth the logostical challenges to get there.
