Quiet room and comfortable bed in the mountain town of Rossland. Desk service was helpful at all hours. Checkin and out painless.
Facilities we used were good although some deficiencies in the sound system.
Our meeting server, Deb, was great. Efficient, quiet and thorough.

This property is not only a beautiful place to land for the night, it’s staff, hospitality, clean comfortable rooms and cozy comfy beds make it a very special place to call it a night after cycling from Grand Forks to Castlegar, with rain chasing us into the valley. Located in the community of Rossland, this hotel is central to amenities, laundry and groceries. After a long day of cycling, the hot tub was a welcome relaxing retreat! Wonderful staff and property! Thank you, Prestige Hotels and Resorts!

We are local and had an issue in our home that caused of to have to vacate for a period of time. The hotel gave us a local rate, allowed us to check in early in the morning, and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We had just returned from a vacation on Vancouver island and the best service we received over the whole trip was the Prestige in our home town. Many thanks! Excellent service, excellent food and fabulous housekeeping and cleanliness.

We had a wonderful stay at the Prestige in Rossland BC. What a beautiful calm little town. Highly recommend staying at the Prestige, as they had outstanding customer service and Jesse was so attentive to our needs and even brought us additional steak knives, forks and napkins with a smile. They staff were great and the hotel was super clean. I felt safe staying there during the pandemic with their cleanliness practices being so top notch. I will defiantly be staying there in the future.

We were a group that stayed on Sunday September 12th. Upon arrival, check in was seamless, and all rooms were ready for our cold, wet, team. Manager Jesse personally welcomed us all, and went above & beyond to get us all settled.
The rooms are comfortable with the signature Prestige bedding, provide stunning mountain views, and the hotel is located right downtown Rossland within walking distance to anything you may need. Laundry is available onsite downstairs, along with a hottub & games room.
The onsite coffee shop ensured that they were open for us in the morning, and provided both great service and great coffee for our team to go.
Thank you for having our group!!

The hotel was clean, staff friendly and the beds were very comfortable. Our main issue was with the noise. We were in a double queen room with an adjoining door to the next suite and we could hear everything from that room as though there was no door. Being in the construction industry we noted that there was no seals around any of the doors (including the suite door) - hence the noise. We found ourselves whispering so that we would not be overheard.. For the price you are paying for these rooms I find that very unacceptable. They did offer to move us to a different room the second night but we were too exhausted to pack everything up and move. On a side note the restaurant food was amazng - you have to try the Pizza.

I wouldn’t make this hotel your getaway destination if you stay in the King Suite.
It’s grossly misrepresented on the website. There is no table, sitting area, no door to the bathroom... the jet tub controls are broken and it doesn’t work at all.
There is a loud exhaust system outside the window blocking the view.
The tv is large and the bed is ok. Some of the pillows are decent.
The drive/highway is absolutely treacherous in October. Literally almost died trying to get here only to be disappointed.
The restaurant will be another review. Not up to the reviews at all.
Breakfast was super good in their cafe but of course expensive
The staff really does go above and beyond. For what they are working with in the location they are friendly, efficient and caring.
Just completely disappointed in what this hotel considers a $340 room. It’s absolutely not.
I’ve stayed in nicer rooms with more amenities in more accessible and desirable areas for much less.

Dear Waxprincess87, I am very pleased that you were impressed with our hospitality during your recent visit. It is unfortunate that the rest of your experience did not match your expectations. I did personally check the operation of the jacuzzi tub after your departure and it was working as intended. Perhaps we need to introduce some clearer instructions to highlight the on/off switch. You are right that in high season the King designer suite will sell for $340 a night. I am surprised that you did not feel it provided good value at the $169.95 per night we charged for your stay. We are always looking to improve. I appreciate your feedback and also your compliments regarding the teams professionalism at the Prestige Mountain Resort in Rossland. Hopefully you might consider a visit in the summer when the roads are safer, and we can get all the details right for you. Warmest regards, Joel Jackson General Managerv

As we have family in Rossland, my husband and I have made many trips there over the past 15 years and we've often stayed at the Prestige, which, until recently, was the only hotel in town.
This trip, last week, was the first one since my husband has developed some mobility problems.
Immediately upon arrival, there is an issue which in the past we thought was silly, but now realized it is a barrier. While the main front door of the hotel opens automatically, there is a second door which does not. Suitcases and a walker, make this quite the obstacle.
The "handicap" room which we were in had tub/shower which is hard for my husband and really impossible for someone in a wheel chair. While there is a bar in the bathtub, the person really needs help getting in and out. Also...how about a soap holder?? The disabled person is hanging on to the bar and then has to bend down to try to pick up the soap from the edge of the tub...ridiculous!
And then there are the lights in the room. Upon entering the room, there is a light switch which is attached to nothing. So, in the dark, you're left feeling your way to where there might be a lamp.
The staff were very efficient and kind. I know that the past year must have been difficult in the hotel industry. But what happened to the attractive uniforms that front desk staff used to wear? They certainly don't look professional now...especially the young lady who was wearing slippers one evening!
And then there's the heat! An old problem but one management doesn't seem to have the will to fix.
The hotel itself looks good and the room (aside from the bathroom) was very comfortable and it is convenient. I hope you can rectify some of these problems!

I enjoyed my stay at the Prestige. The room is spacious with a work desk and the shower has plenty of hot water. The room temperature controller actually works! I found the bed comfortable and the selection of pillows allowed me to find a reasonable fit. The restaurant, Gabriella's, provides breakfast, and will pack a bag lunch if asked. The dinner menu is outstanding. If the weather is nice, eat on the deck; the view is lovely and it is much quieter than the main dining room. I enjoyed my stay.

I had 20 people there on a ski club trip. The location was just a few minutes from the resort and town, the place is really nice. Great on site restaurant, a pretty good breakfast buffet for the club. Nice bar. The place was very clean, no worries with any of that. Staff were excellent! Special call out to the gal at the front desk, forgot her name but she was soooo helpful. Then the COVID shutdown happened on Day 2 of our week long trip. The management really came through for us when plans changed. We bugged out the next morning as the border was closed. Our club received a FULL refund for all unused nights and breakfasts. We hope to get back there after this virus crap is over and I wouldn't even look at another property to stay at.

Hello Vince, We appreciate you taking the time to write such an amazing review! Our team here works really hard to make everyone's experience enjoyable and one to remember. Once everything is ok to travel and visit us in Rossland again, we look forward to welcoming you back to Prestige Mountain Resort! Take care and best wishes, Joel Jackson General Manager

i suggest you walk a few steps to subway restaurant, they offer breakfast at a more reasonable price. You should call prestige to arrange a ski group pricing.
