Excellent stay at Cusheon Lake Resort- rustic cabins right on the lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Firewood was stocked promptly every day and we were able to buy extra at reception (made for those cozy rainy days). The only criticism was the need for new pillows as they were feeling very thin or lumpy. But other than that, I would definitely return and try out some of the other cabins!

Beautiful quiet spot in the lake. Loved our one bedroom cabin that had everything needed for our one week stay. The kitchen was nicely outfitted. Our two dogs were happy to be there too. The mattress was not very comfortable, otherwise a lovely place to stay.

What a charming place. The cabins are so nice, with well-appointed kitchens, the beds are large and comfy, the staff is accommodating and the lake is so pretty. A hidden gem and we will be back! Summer is already all booked up, but we will go in the late spring.

Such a wonderful place, so quiet, beautiful location and wonderful people running the resort. It is a very special place. We went there for an escape from Halloween fireworks for our dog, but it was much more than that - canoes available for use by those staying there. Every morning was magical with mist on the lake until the sun appeared and slowly changed everything. Fabulous property. There does need to be new beds, at least in the room we stayed at. Otherwise, no complaints at all.

We only stayed for 1 night, but we had a fantastic experience celebrating my girlfriend's birthday. Beautiful cabin 10 was very cozy with a great view of the lake! We loved taking the canoe around the lake and enjoying the hot tub. Glen was extremely welcoming and friendly with us and we will for sure be coming back! Our one little suggestion would be to perhaps open the hot tub earlier than 11 am, as this is also the check-out time, so guests can also enjoy it in the morning before heading back home. - Easy Check in and Check Out - Parking near the cabin - Great View - Good amenities - Lots of canoes and stand-up paddle boards - Welcoming environment - Great price

we had a lovely log cabin, a treat to start with. firewood was supplied daily and it was easy to burn. The cabin was quiet, clean warm, and the tv was great, able to offer many channels for wasting time the lake was dreamy. herons, canoes, little birds I never identified, and wood peckers staff were personable and entirely helpful. there is a short stretch of dirt road but even a lamborghini would manage it.

Response from Cusheon Lake Resort, General Manager at Cusheon Lake Resort
Responded Jan 23, 2023
Thank you so much, this was fun to read! Glad you enjoyed the birds. There are many small birds but the marsh wren is a little one, often hopping about at the shoreline. We love seeing the migratory ducks cruise through this time of year too; usually mergansers, buffleheads and goldeneyes! Looking forward to the swooping swallows that come in the spring.
