we had a lovely log cabin, a treat to start with. firewood was supplied daily and it was easy to burn. The cabin was quiet, clean warm, and the tv was great, able to offer many channels for wasting time the lake was dreamy. herons, canoes, little birds I never identified, and wood peckers staff were personable and entirely helpful. there is a short stretch of dirt road but even a lamborghini would manage it.

Thank you so much, this was fun to read! Glad you enjoyed the birds. There are many small birds but the marsh wren is a little one, often hopping about at the shoreline. We love seeing the migratory ducks cruise through this time of year too; usually mergansers, buffleheads and goldeneyes! Looking forward to the swooping swallows that come in the spring.

Property's Favourite Review
Cusheon Lake Resort is a gem. We have been visiting for the past several years with our kids and friends. The kids have the best time in the lake and exploring in and around the resort’s natural environment. The cabins are well equipped and well maintained. Very well run by the managers, Glen and Andie.

We rented 8 cabins for our long awaited family reunion and can't say enough about Cushion Lake! We had perfect weather which meant lots of water time for the children! It was so nice to be able to go cabin hopping and visit with family as cabins are close to one another. Glen (manager) was so very helpful during our reunion and throughout the last 2 1/2 years of planning. The children especially loved the paddle boards and canoes! There was a perfect outdoor area where we were able to have a pizza night and a family lunch for 33 people! Cusheon Lake is a wonderful place to relax and make memories. Thanks Cusheon Lake and we will see you again!

My son and I spent 3 days here - cabin 11. We lucked out and had hot, sunny weather for our entire stay. Needless to say it was a perfect spot as we enjoyed a cool dip in the lake, paddle boarding, coffee on the dock, etc. . Glen suggested a few hikes that worked well for us and his dinner recommendations were spot on! Would definitely recommend it!

I’m torn between giving them a great review and tarnishing their image so that no other families will take our spots for next year! We love this little resort. The staff is kind and welcoming. The grounds are well cared for. The lake is perfect. Even in chilly weather there are warm fires and a hot tub to warm your bones. We’ll be back for sure.

We had a great time at Cusheon Lake Resort. Our cabin was clean, cozy and had everything that we needed. The grounds are well maintained and the setup is well thought out with an area for each cabin to enjoy the outdoors. There is an outdoor BBQ area, a dock, swings for the kids and a large enough space to play some outdoor games. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would definetly go back.

Cusheon Lake Resort is our favourite place to visit. Glen runs the resort with such high standards and care. He is friendly and very helpful. We have always found the cabins to be super clean, well stocked and oh so comfy. We have enjoyed the use of the canoes for a paddle around the lake. It is a beautiful and relaxing environment.

Idyllic setting. Spacious, well equipped cabins, each facing the lake. Glen, Andie and the staff were fantastic. They did everything possible to help guests manage a widespread loss of power due to a wind storm. They bent over backwards to make my family event very special.

Beautiful place, very comfortable clean cabin. Unfortunately there was a wind storm and the power went out our first morning and didn't come back on until the next day in the evening. We had no water, no cooking, no heat except for a wood fireplace, had to keep putting lake water in the toilet. Didn't get to use the hot tub, it was off! No showers. Tried to make the most of it. Thankful the town had power so we could get some meals. Very expensive for ruffing it! Best thing was that our Grandson caught his first fish the second day when the lake calmed down. Will have to go back one day!

Glad you hear you'll be back, and that's fun about the fish! We have new kits that include butane stoves, (+ lanterns, flashlights, drinking water, all in a bucket) to hand out in the event of power loss this year. Thankfully we have BC hydro crews on the island and the power is only out an hour or two, but of course it's impossible to predict.
