Recently spent 3 nights in the Green Cabin. My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to simply get away from it all and spend some time in nature. In the quiet. The green cabin is very bare bones but functional. Bedrooms a good distance apart - plenty of room for two people. Three outdoor spaces to enjoy. Two wonderful vintage chaise lounges to sit and stitch. Plenty of shade when the sun is out. The property is 27 acres - not all of it agriculture. Two other cabins within shouting distance remained empty for the first two nights then booked in. The atmosphere got noisy really fast - would suggest booking midweek if possible. Would be perfect for large families looking for separate accommodations and a common garden area or a retreat base camp. Near the end of June there were plenty of plantings up for our inspection - we are encouraged to look and not touch. Plenty of greens-aces. We walked through the forest for miles without seeing anyone. Owner/operaters were available and visible throughout the day working away. Very close to Long Harbour, where we arrived and departed from, just 5 minutes from Ganges.

was a peaceful homey getaway. With covid19 its the best place to be because you have lots of room to move around. Jeanne-Marie is amazing but dare say Cheetah is right up there as well!! My sister, niece and I kept saying how we would definitely return in the future. The produce basket was incredibly delicious and fresh. We stayed in the big house with lots of room, cozy beds and lovely surroundings. What more do you need. Great little island to tour around and check out

We had an amazing 2 night stay at Foxglove Farm (in an updated early 1900's log cabin) with awesome hosts Jeanne-Marie and Michael. Foxglove is a working farm and we were lucky enough to participate in a tour given by Michael, who is totally passionate about his farming lifestyle. Jeanne-Marie put together a wonderful basket of fresh produce for us to take home. All-in-all, a great stay on Saltspring.

This was my husbands and my second visit to Foxglove Farm, and to be honest, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The farm is perfection in every way. Our cottage was clean and cozy, with a well equipped kitchen, and a deck to sit on to relax and enjoy the scenery. There are trails to walk, as well as close access to town when we wanted to do some shopping. Best place on Salt Spring by far!!

We had a great stay at Foxglove Farm. Traveling with our two young kids (2 and 6 months) it's hard to find places where you can relax and feel at home but this was certainly one of them. We stayed in the Green Cottage which is simple but has everything you need as well as a nice deck and outdoor space. Our little boy enjoyed running run the farm, watching the chickens and playing with Megan the dog. We also got a produce basket which was full of delicious fruit and veg and was plenty for our 3 days on the farm. The location is great; beautiful/peaceful setting, 10 mins from Ganges and convenient for a trip up to Mount Maxwell (which is spectacular, if a little bumpy on the way)
