This hotel is in the midst of a transition/renovation/sale? so the place looks tired. The restaurant and the farm stand are no longer open unfortunately but they provided a lovely complimentary breakfast complete with fresh baked muffins, fresh plums from the garden, yogourt and cereal choices. Our room was dated but very clean. The front desk staff were really friendly...

The pictures shown of this hotel are old pictures - this hotel is in terrible condition, run down, partially in repair and is overcharging for what it is offering. Do not stay here!!! Rooms have no air-conditioning and ground floor room had no screen on the window or door so stuffy and hot. Sofa bed had mold underneath the mattress....

Quite ok providing you are not fussy. No refrigerator, no telephone in the room, no air con but the location was fantastic and the staff were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast is great; good coffee, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, scones, muffins. It was really good. there is a great poutine caravan on site behind the hotel serving great food. We did...

We were surprised that Harbour House still had rooms available. We had stayed there in the past. Plain, but functional. The restaurant is closed for renovation... Which the whole place needs desperately. The TV, as it was, didn't work and the paint was coming off some walls from water damage. The price was ridiculous ($199 per night) and the staff...

This place is in the midst of remodeling itself. It's good value for a premium location. They haven't an in-house restaurant at present, but they have a successful organic garden and hope to reopen a restaurant! There's a charming food truck parked in their lot though --open late!

We stayed at harbour house for 2 nights last weekend. The hotel needs a renovation! It's run down, rooms are very small, furniture is very old, our room didn't even have a fridge. Great location, but next time we'd rather rent a cabin and book a campsite for the money we paid.

Normally we'd never pay this much for a room of this calibre but it's Salt Spring and that's the way it goes. Overall, the hotel is clean but it's run down. What you read about comfortable beds is true though. Better than some 5 Stars I've stayed in. Not having anyone at the front desk around the clock is a...

OK so it's a motel, not a hotel. The rooms are simple but clean. The harbour facing units have a decent view the rest have a view of the roof top and/or the parking lot. The rooms at the rear enjoy complementary wake up service courtesy of the sheep and chickens. The farm and motel are getting tired and are...

Our stay here wasn't all that bad considering some of the latest reviews. We booked our room 3 months early to get the best price, and at that time all reviews were positive. As of late the reviews have been for the worse. Our room was clean and adequate. The staff was very friendly and willing to help you out...

I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights with my grandbabes. Prices were especially fair as the hotel is in transition. I loved the staff and they were friendly and extemely helpful. We walked thru the garden, ate berries, visited the goats and chickens and found it to be most serene. Due to the transition, the restaurant was not open...
