Beautiful B&B tucked away a few kms from Ganges. Luxurious accommodation, great hospitality, delicious brekkie and major kudos to the amazing garden you can walk around, avail of hot tub and pool and walk the forest trails. Thanks for a memorable stay. J&P
We were at the Wetherly in July and it was just as lovely as we remembered. Quiet and peaceful, with a small number of guests and very discreet hosts. The main house has a number of rooms, each with AC, well appointed, with views over the garden. The breakfast is always delicious - freshly baked fruit tart or crumble, lovely yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, coffee etc. The beautiful gardens include a pool, a hot tub and a pond. You will need a car to explore the island or motor scooters, or if you have fantastic lungs, a bicycle. Salt Spring is very hilly/mountainous. We visited the apple cider place for great lunches, and Appleluscious for a tour with Harry, and the Salt Spring bakery where we had a terrific chat with the owner/architect about the island. Fantastic farmers and artists on the island - you will learn something new every day.…
Thanks to everyone at The Wetherly we had a great 2 day getaway.I can't say enough about our experience, just look at all the pictures and you will get a true idea of the grounds and the atmosphere. The only thing to improve 2 night at The Wetherly is to turn it into 3 nights
I am always on the lookout for amazing places to stay locally (my husband and I live in Surrey, BC) and boy does Wetherly Inn meet the mark! My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in July. With a hard year behind us, we were looking for a place to really relax, and we found it here. The grounds and gardens are absolutely stunning, a true work of art. You can see the labour of love that went into building the gardens, and the loving care and attention that goes into maintaining the grounds. Flowers and plants abound, lazy bumblebees and dragonflies flit about, and the constant murmur of bubbling water infuses the air, soothing the soul. There are many private spots to sit and read a book or just soak in the peaceful atmosphere. The pool is warm and inviting. The property is up there with the most beautiful places we have ever had the pleasure to visit, not just locally but internationally. We LOVED the special touch of coffee/tea being delivered to our room in the mornings. We would sit on our little balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens and sip coffee in the sunshine, before heading down to a delicious breakfast in the sunlit breakfast room. Your hosts, Steph and Les are warm and welcoming and we loved meeting the resident cats. If you are adults looking for kid-free enclave of peace, tranquility and beauty, this is the place. We will definitely be back! …
From the driveway of lavender through the garden of water falls flowers and singing birds to the tiny lake at the bottom...so peaceful💖 Really enjoyed the traditional English wake-up delivery of tea/coffee to our room ❣️ Such welcoming hosts in this family run bed and breakfast made this a a visit to remember 🌹
