Lovely hotel. Well appointed rooms. Amazing location right next to a beautiful beach, 5 mins from Tofino. Lots of restaurants nearby - recommend Wildside Grill (10 min walk) & Li'l Ronnie's Beachside Bbq (5 min walk) - both serving excellent food (see my reviews ). Temporary breakfast room at the moment, but this is fine.

first day was amazing lots of sun and got to enjoy everything. next day we explored the towns near by and bought items for Christmas. the hotel stay was amazing, trained staff to make your time enjoyable and knowledgeable in the area. Recommended places to go by staff and surfing gear on site. we have stayed here before around 10 years back and alot has changed with the new restaurant and hot tub. im glad we came and will come again. Only thing i wish there was on site was a games room like other hotels have in the area for the kids.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Very friendly front desk, answered all our inquiries. The room with a king bed was very clean and comfortable. Balcony overlooked the beach. Social House restaurant had opened just the week before, we had a lovely dinner there. Morning breakfast was exceptional. Chef prepared hot food, which changed daily, was very delicious. Continental breakfast items included fresh fruits, baked goods, bread, juices, yogurt bar, cereal, variety of milks. The service staff did an excellent job to replensih items that were running low. Amazing sunset on the beachj. The town is only about 3 km away.

Tin Wis is a wonderful property. Run by First Nations this is a special place to visit the Tofino/Ucluelet area of Vancouver Island. The staff are wonderful and we always feel that we are valued customers. Tin Wis is a destination that we return to when we visit this part of the Pacific Northwest.

Our sister's getaway was wonderful. The beds are comfortable, the water is good to drink from the tap and very clean and tasty, even the shower water felt really nice on my skin. The highlight of all was the room's ocean view with a patio door and window that open to the fresh air and sounds of the waves. The short walk across the lawn to the beach was another benefit that we enjoyed, we welcomed the feeling of tranquility this provided.

This is a really good hotel set in a beautiful location with beach access and ocean views. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was comfy and practical. I had the best long sleep here. The bed was comfy, there were blackout curtains, it was quiet, but with the ocean waves in the background. And when Browns Socialhouse opens it will be even better. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed for just under a week in May and brought our dogs. We have tried lots of places on the west coast and always wanted to try the Tin Wis. We booked online with the BW website and booked a room with our dogs, and when we arrived were told the room did not allow pets so they had to scramble to find us a room that allowed dogs. We had booked a king bed and wound up with two queens. Not the end of the world, but there is a bug in the system. The main reception room is beautiful and people have taken pride to make it so. The building is clean and we appreciated the coffee machine with different drink options. My husband tried the breakfast daily and there was always a lot of food available. The staff were friendly and the room was tidy and worked for us. The sand got everywhere and we found a broom in our room to clean it up a few times a day. One thing that was challenging is that they have a policy not to leave your dogs in the room (even in their crates) so we couldn't go for a meal in town and had to resort to ordering pizza or getting food to go. The weather was really warm so we couldn't leave them in the car. I understand the policy because some dogs bark constantly, but it didn't impact our enjoyment of the trip to be eating takeout the whole time. OVERALL - this place is beautiful and clean and the staff work hard to accommodate folks. We might stay again, but Pacific Sands has more amenities (and costs a lot more).…
