Nestled in a prime spot close to the beach and town, Crystal Cove Beach Resort offers a tranquil retreat with consistently clean and cozy accommodations. Guests laud the warm, efficient service and the serene atmosphere of the cabins, perfect for special getaways.
Standout amenities, including inviting fireplaces, hot tubs with ocean vistas, and direct beach access, receive high marks. However, concerns about rising costs and slightly dated rooms have been voiced, hinting at a balance to be struck between luxury and value.

Detailed Reviews
We've been coming for a 3 or 4 night stay each winter for some years. Love this place! Nice cabins, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, all the wood you need for your evening fire in the fireplace. The cove is so beautiful, and they even supply doggy bags and a garbage can down by the water.

This was our 2nd vacation at Crystal Cove. This time we stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom cabin (#21) with a wood burning fireplace. We could have stayed in front of the fireplace the entire time! What a treat. Thank you for the twice daily delivery of firewood. Everything we could possibly need was stocked in the cabin. The cabin was spotless and cozy, with very comfortable beds. Because we stayed 3 nights we were treated to extra special coffees every morning - thank you! We have already booked 4 nights next year and hope to have a new puppy along with us!

After our other travel plans were cancelled, we quickly booked a return trip to Crystal Cove (after 8 years) and we are so happy we did. The grounds for this resort are gorgeous and pristine. The crew does an incredible job of maintaining all the sites, the grounds, etc. and the bathrooms are immaculate (in addition to being very spacious and modern, they were sanitized regularly and were very, very clean).
The staff and service were great and we felt very safe and able to relax during our week there. I highly recommend this as a place to stay.

We stayed in Cabin-1 with our family of six. Two king beds and a pull out in living room.
This was an excellent beach front cabin with incredible views and literally the beach is right there. Private enough of a cabin though to enjoy time with the family. Nightly bonfires on the beach and the resort restocks you’re wood twice a day. Kitchen was nicely stocked and the cabin was clean. Be prepared there is mosquitos there so bring long pants and some spray.

Hello Travellover99999999. I'm pleased to see you enjoyed your stay with us. I'm also happy that you found the kitchen well stocked. We did have to remove some items from our normal kitchen stock due to our new Covid-19 cleaning requirements. However they are all available by request as well as items from our new "My Inner Chef" program offering and assortment of high end cooking tools you may also need during your stay to create a very memorable west coast feast. June has been a bit of a wet month here on the coast and the mosquitoes are lingering a bit longer than normal this year, but with the warmer weather coming soon, they should be gone for the summer. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you again soon. J.J. Belanger General Manager

This was our first time to Tofino, we booked cabin 13 with Crystal Cove and were really pleased. The caretakers are very attentive, and due to covid-19 they had texting set up which made it easy to communicate if you need anything, have a question, and to check in and out. The view of the cove from the cabin was lovely, and it was steps to the beach. We are already planning on returning during storm season.

Great facilities, good customer service, friendly Staff and a fantastic location! The landscaping and maintenance were all surprisingly good. Check in was fast and helpful. The location is fantastic right on a dog friendly beach. Little touches like a dog cleaning station near the beach, were unexpected and very helpful. 'Downtown Tofino' and surfing beaches are just minutes away! Lots of outdoor areas to explore nearby!

Once again an excellent stay at Crystal Cove, this is why we keep coming back. Our first ever staying in cabin #10 although the cabin was a studio and more compact than the others, it was very comfortable, clean and the location was awesome. We were just dissapointed that we were charged the same price as the other larger cabins when #10 was much smaller with a compact kitchen, no stove nor a full fridge.

Located on a sheltered, beautiful beach perfect for us and the kids to kayak around on the ocean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not 5 stars because we found the kitchen utensils rather cheap and flimsy. For the price, I would like to see higher quality kitchenware as well as dressers in the bedrooms to store clothing on a week long trip.

Dear SageCountry. I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay with us for the most part. Sadly due to the new Covid-19 cleaning requirements, we have had to remove many items from the cabin kitchens for this year. There is a list of items that were removed in every cabin and you can ask us for the items you need for your stay and they will be available for pick up at the office. That sheet also list the high end kitchen items that we stock for our "My Inner Chef" program. We have things like professional Chef's knives, cast iron pans, woks, immersion blenders and much more based on availability. Next time just ask. Thanks. J.J. Belanger General Manager

We rented 3 cabins this year for our 12 family members. This resort is outstanding. The cabins are clean, have ample dishes in the kitchen, are cozy, include a wood burning fireplace, a barbecue and ours had a hot tub on the deck. There are lots of amenities such as free firewood, daily towel and trash service. The site is nicely appointed and well maintained and includes a great playground for the children and easy beach access. I also appreciated the coffee bar in the main building for my morning latte. Also, all staff we encountered were both professional and friendly.

Very nice location and great amenities. The beach was lovely and close, the cabins had everything we needed and the kids play area was lots of fun. The showers were a bit moldy and the hot tubs were in rough shape, which I wasn’t expecting for the price. Overall, it was a nice place but I think if you’re planning on exploring the area and not spending 24/7 at the cabin, you might find better value elsewhere. But if you plan on walking straight on to the beach every day, the location can’t be beat.

Dear Kris032. I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. The hot tub issues are a due to a lengthy backorder on parts due to supply chain issues. We ordered new coved in October of last year, which normally take a month or so to get. We got them last week. This has been a challenge for the past 18 months. Not sure what you mean by the showers were a bit moldy as they are thoroughly cleaned before each stay. Had you mentioned this to us during your stay we could have delt with it immediately. Hopefully these issues can be rectified before your next stay. Thanks. J.J. Belanger General Manager

Hi Stevie.
It's a Simmons Felicity Recharge Comfort Top. We have both King and Queen sizes. I have one myself and we get about 30 or more inquiries every year. They are awesome beds.
Good luck with you purchase.

Sorry but our hot tubs are attached to cabins only
Most of the cabins have private hot tubs and the Rainforest cabins have 2 large shared hots tubs in the tree top gazebos.
