Besides the fact that the sites are tiny and overflow was a parking lot, it was the amenities ( pool, shower, toilet) area that was disgusting. A beautiful view but not worth the money to stay in a parking lot setting. The place needs an overhaul

We stayed one night in this "campground" The sites are gravel on the side of a very dusty road and are incredibly tiny. They initially gave us site 51 which was on the road with a little strip of trees with a tent on the side of it. No place for a table, or to put out an awning or...

Seaside view of the camping: Beautiful! Amazing! Wauw! The rest: - wood = very expensive - Camping is overcrowded - 3 toilets who where barely cleaned and out of date - Old accomadation that doesn't get the right treatment - 58 cad/night for a spot that is 3meter on 4meter - Fire pits (wood) that are very close to the...

Mackenzie Beach Resort was one of the worse places we stayed at during our month long camping vacation...staying at a different campground nightly we have come across many but none like this,,the road going into it is enough to rattle the frame of your camper..let alone ruin your vehicule allignment..for a place who receives so many people you would think...

Having chosen this property at the last minute and after reading the TA reviews we were somewhat prepared for our experience. We booked directly with the property, reservation was to be confirmed by e-mail which never happened. We called back a few days later and were advised there were server issues?? Anyway our reservation was waiting for us. The young...

We had been camping at the resort next door, and it was pouring rain. Our tents leaked and we had no where to go. We inquired at this resort if they had any cottages available. Normally they only do 2 night stay minimum, however due to our current situation they gladly accepted us. The cottage was very clean and everyone...

This funky campsite never turns anyone away which is great. It is situated on a fantastic beach. The owners are friendly but over worked. They need to upgrade the washrooms. They weren't clean and barely functional for so many campers. There were lots of young people which made it noisy at night, not so great for getting kids to sleep....

Thank you for your comments. It is a GREAT beach for sure. The washrooms are cleaned many times during the day, but with white tiles on the floor they are hard to keep clean. We ask customers to take their shoes off at the entrance but many track dirt down the hallway which makes it hard for the next people...

If you want to experience a "Tofino tent city" this is the place. They don't turn anyone away which is good if you're stuck. A campsite close to the beach is $50 with no privacy, people walking through your camp site space to get to their tent, hearing every snore, every baby cry around you at night, every 6am alarm...

I would stay far, far away from this place. Tofino is a beautiful, magical place but this "Resort" is not recommended. Our "ocean view suite" was like a musty-smelling cardboard box, neither my husband nor I wanted to touch anything and we tried to stay away as long during the day as could while dreading our return to this dump....

The sites were pathetic, step outside your camper and you are in your neighbors yard. We had a tent site and needed to use bathrooms which were disgusting, dirty and smelly! They didn't have even have soap to wash your hands! They had issues with the water and two separate times there was no running water. The lady at the...
