We found this hotel quiet and friendly. It is a lovely place to get away. The staff are friendly and well-versed in the local lore and in meeting guests' expectations. We enjoyed a long walk on the beach, in-room downtime and a couples massage. We also are ate our meals,at the pointe restaurant which was well attended and offered superb...

Our first visit to this spectacular location was enhanced by the wonderful service offered by the staff and the thoughtfulness of the amenities provided by the Inn. (Need boots and a raincoats for the beach, they have them, a spectacular library with a magnificent view, and a wonderful spa, where I had one of the best massages ever.) Our room...

We had a 3rd floor room with outstanding views of the beach and pounding surf on the rocks below our balcony. The staff are friendly and very efficient; the Pointe restaurant is superb; the room sizes are generous; the ambiance is very soothing. Fell asleep to the sound of surf every night.

We recently stayed five nights in the third floor premier room. Our second stay, a nine year separation from our first time there. The room and views were better than before, somehow, despite the enhancement memory can produce with me. The overall condition of the property and the service provided remain excellent. The community of Tofino seems more prosperous, hence...

We were in a corner suite on the 2nd floor, west facing, in the pointe building. From the moment we entered until we left, we were completely blown away by the beauty of the location, the quality of the staff, and the attention to detail. We were skeptical that a hotel room would be worth that kind of cost, but...

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife in Feb. 2015. Beautiful location, no matter what the weather. Rooms are extremely nice, with deep soaking tub, heated bathroom floor and fireplace. Great for hiking, kayaking, and surfing, or just being lazy indoors. Probably would not stay more than 3 nights, unless very dedicated to those activities, as other options (e.g. golf,...

After having warnings of fog, dangerous roads, and the like, it turned out that the Tofino road was good, though picturesque, and the Wickaninnish Inn was a superb climax - and it was bright and sunny too. The views were tremendous, and the staff extremely helpful and courteous. Everything about it was right, which one might expect from a Relais...

Had breakfast at the Pointe Restaurant and it was delightful. I had the Eggs Benny and it was savoury and satisfying. A definite recommendation. The jam for the toast was also really delicious and made in house! The view of the restaurant is also out of this world.

Stunning location. Our room 319 was located with a tree and rock lined view of the ocean and small island. We kept the patio door open at night to listen to the surf. We booked Dec 16-20 to take in storm season and were not disappointed. The pounding surf crashing onto the rocks and beach was spectacular. Even better was...

Wickaninnish Inn, a Relais & Chateaux property since 1997, overlooks the Pacific Ocean from a rocky point on Vancouver Island’s rugged west coast, near the eclectic town of Tofino and Pacific Rim National Park. Two contemporary cedar buildings, set against a backdrop of ancient rainforest, boast an extensive local art collection (complemented by the neighbouring wood carving shed), and all rooms and suites offer ocean or beach views, gas fireplace, soaker tub and individual balcony. Uncompromising service, including a Clefs d’Or Concierge team, is a standard. The sole resort on Chesterman Beach, Tofino’s longest at 2.5km/1.5mi, the Inn is home to refined West Coast cuisine at The Pointe Restaurant and naturally-inspired treatments at its intimate Ancient Cedars Spa.
