This is a wonderful B&B in a serene location. The breakfast we had here was, hands-down, the best breakfast we had on our whole 3-week trip! The rooms are immaculate and the rustic, simple decor is perfect. The communal areas are fabulous places in which to sit and relax, read a book or just soak in the atmosphere (cozy lounge,...

This B&B is beautiful. Tucked in a small inlet, with a nice view. The house is gorgeous, wooden beams and woodwork throughout. It was tranquil, comfortable beds and good food. Breakfast was all local foods, Tofino coffee and local ingredients.

The Black Bear is the perfect place to stay. It is set in a quiet residential area just south of Tofino. The house (built by the owners) has a beautiful setting overlooking an inlet of Clayquot Sound. We stayed in the Osprey room which surely has one of the best views we have seen from a bedroom. It changes with...

This place is fantastic! We stayed for five nights and then moved onto the Black Rock resort down the road for two nights and wished we'd stayed for seven (you are right Jay, the Black Rock ain't all that)! Great rooms, hosts, breakfasts and the view is so peaceful. These folks work hard to look after you but never bother...

Tofino was the highlight of our trip to BC, and the Black Bear was part of the reason. The view from the chairs out in the backyard is among the best in area, with the Osprey Room where we stayed sharing that same view, but from the second story. Breakfasts were excellent, and there were so many stars in the...

We stayed at the Black Bear during September. It truly is a wonderful place to stay. Waking up in the Osprey room each morning to Glorious sunrises was magical. Evenings spent around the firepit on the deck watching the ever changing colours of the sunset hitting the mountains was magnificent. Bobbi, Jay and Kathy are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were...

This is an amazing B&B. Jay and Bobbi are wonderful hosts and we had a fantastic time in Tofino. We stayed 5 nights and every morning brought a different, delicious breakfast. The B&B itself is a beautiful property. The location is a little out of town, but all the better for that. It's quiet and you can sit back with...

We stayed at the guesthouse for 2 nights in August and we had a wonderful time. The room was more than comfortable and first class treatment was all the way! The breakfasts were awesome and very filling. Those blueberry pancakes were great. It was such a relaxing holiday and we loved the evening we were able to unwind in the...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights here this July. The rooms have a hotel like feel in their presentation, cleanliness and extras. Infortunately we didn't get to meet our hosts as they were out of town for the weekend but Kathy made us an absoutely superb breakfast. If you judge a B&B mostly on the breakfast, as I tend...
