We will be back!! Thank you for an amazing visit. Super comfy beds and warm blankets. All the goodies you could ask for. So close to so many amazing places made it easy to tour around but have a place to call home.

The room was in the lower level of the owner's house. It had a private, level-entry door to the outside. The room was large and could easily accommodate a person with a wheel chair. The décor was plain and utilitarian, but it was well maintained and clean. There were a queen bed and also a sofa that folds out into a near-double bed. The owner was friendly and polite.
Breakfast consisted of fresh-baked, still-warm muffins and a good variety of fruit. The room has a small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, but no sink). The kitchenette has dishes and silverware for 4, plus coffee and tea-making appliances. It also as coffee, tea, sugar and coffee-whitener. We were there two nights, and my only complaint was that there could have been more variety of muffins, we had the same flavour each morning.
Hummingbird B&B is located a few feet from the highway, on a side-road. It is well marked, with good signage, that's visible from the highway. The road's pavement ends just after the establishment's driveway. Although the owner told us it's a 5-minute walk to the ocean, that walk's on gravel road and appeared to be a long 5 minutes.

This lady Cheryl cancelled our reservation because we asked a question. She would not talk and yelled at us as she was booking in customers. She refused to talk to us. Absolutely crazy. She yelled at us....awful customer service beware of your reservations. Don't ask questions

Website, trip advisor and good place all indicated this as a Bed & Breakfast. There is no breakfast and there was no mention about this when we booked nor when we checked in.
Otherwise close to a dusty road leading to the beach, room clean and okay but nothing to give it more than a few stars.

The room was for myself and my brother; the second bed was already make up for us. The owner brought breakfast at a time of our choosing every morning; delicious home made muffins, and beautifully cut fresh fruit, and freshly made juice. The Hummingbird is in a very good location, right off the highway but still very quiet. Just a couple of minutes from Tofino. The folks were very nice and helpful. The wifi worked just great. We would stay here again, certainly!

Decent bed in decent room and decent bathroom with tub. Nice sheets.
Short on bathroom amenities, no breakfast (even though it's advertised as year long), TV is miniature and only 5 oddball channels.
Soundproofing is an issue. I could hear the next door TV, even though there was nothing to watch! (and could tell what type of smoke they were inhaling), someone is also running a clothes washing machine at 11 o'clock at night (the owner denied there was a washing machine on the premises, but the spin racket was unmistakable).
On the plus side, the owner is very nice, and brought me a microwave when I asked for one. He was also kind to grant me a poor solo discount, when I mistakenly asked based on a different Hummingbird BnB website.

We loved our stay at the Hummingbird B&B. It was quiet and we had a nice forest view from our room. Wifi was very good. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, yummy orange juice and muffins. Excellent location near the shuttle into town and near MacKenzie Beach and the Westside Grill. Only suggestion is for a little more variety in the type of muffins served! Our host, Vern, was gracious and helpful.

My partner and I booked here on the fly after being rained out of our campsite. It was a fantastic decision! The owner, although appearing a bit gruff at first, was very sweet and accommodating to our needs. The breakfast each day was nice warm muffins and fruit delivered to our room at a time of your choice between 8 and 10. Our room was on the bottom floor and quite spacious with queen sized bed, pull out couch, and a little kitchenette and table. The TV did seem to have some odd channel selections but we weren’t there to watch it much anyways (plus it had HBO on demand so s’all good!) Overall a fantastic decision to stay there and would do it again in a pinch
