Our stay at the Tofino Motel Harborview was delightful and exactly what we needed for our visit to this beautiful coastal town. This small and welcoming motel is conveniently located in the heart of Tofino, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Our suite was perfect—a clean, comfortable retreat after long days of exploring the stunning beaches and trails around Tofino and Ucluelet. It featured two cozy bedrooms, a small but well-equipped kitchen area, and a breathtaking view of Clayoquot Sound that we enjoyed every morning and evening.
With several excellent restaurants just a short walk away, we had plenty of dining options to complement our adventures. The motel’s central location made it easy to access everything Tofino has to offer, from the waterfront to the charming local shops.
If you’re planning a visit to Tofino and the surrounding areas, Tofino Motel Harborview is an excellent choice. It offers comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality in a picturesque setting. Highly recommended!

Easy to find, almost at the start of the town when you come in. I love the balcony on second floor, great view of harbour and flowers. The room is very clean and modern. Comfy bed. The little details matter, like real cream for your coffee in the fridge and pump hand soap that smells like lavender. Staff and check-in were great.

Stayed at this motel, partly because off season the price is affordable. $178 per night is a good deal in Tofino…however I can’t imagine paying their rates in high season! As nice and comfortable that this motel is, it’s not worth the ridiculous nightly rates . Tofino is obscenely expensive, and every restaurant and accommodations are not for people on a normal budget.

We were delighted with our stay at this motel. The room was spacious and very comfortable, the balcony had an incredible view and the receptionist was very welcoming and informative about dining options. We particularly enjoyed our stay in this establishment which we highly recommend!!!

When driving up to the motel we wondered what we got ourselves into. But we were pleasantly surprised by the room, including the view and location. The double beds felt like the smallest double beds we had ever had. For two adults it is tight fit on one bed. There is a microwave, kettle and coffee machine. They even had creamers in the fridge for the coffee and tea they provided. Such a nice touch. A small ice machine is available on the main level. I can’t stress enough how amazing the location is. We could walk everywhere. The only time we drove was to the beach. Even our whale watching trip was just down the road. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was a good size and had coffee, tea making facilities as well as a bar fridge, microwave, cups and cereal bowls. We had a great view of the inlet and the motel is located on the edge of town, although it is close to the road the room was very quiet. No housekeeping due to Covid restrictions but we had lots of towels and could always have gone to reception if we needed anything. We would recommend the Tofino Motel Harbourview, it's great value for money.

The motel has brilliant views at the bay and is close to companies that offer whale watching tours, also walking distance to the city center. Check-in was good and we got some nice recommendations for dinner. The room was clean and offered enough space and amentities. Just the price was very high, however, in the area is not much choice and was almost nothing available when we traveled. It was a very pleasant stay.

I wasn't sure I was happy about spending $360 (Canadian) for a motel room, but I chalked it up to high season (July), and Tofino's general reputation for being expensive.
When I pulled up, indeed this place was a motel, and I prepared myself to be disappointed.
However, when I walked in, I was quite happy with what I found!
I booked the "Harbor View Kitchenette Suite". It was surprisingly nice. There was a separate bedroom (with a door that closes) with two twin beds, plus a king bed in the main room. As the name stated, it also had a kitchen area with a stove and microwave.
The unit also had its own balcony, with a beautiful view of the harbor!
Overall, the place was quite large, and I really liked it. It really had a high end feel to it. I forgot I was even in a "motel" until I walked out the door.
It's also located right in the heart of Tofino, so you can walk to a lot of shops and restaurants, many of which are open until 10-11pm.
The only thing I disliked? There's an obnoxious 10am checkout time. Way too early. Checkout should never be before 11. I did get them to make an exception and let us check out later, however.
If I ever go to Tofino again (it's a bit off the beaten path), I will definitely book that same suite at the Tofino Motel Harborview!

I picked this motel based on reviews. The room had a beautiful view which was great as we were stuck in the room one morning as it was raining pretty hard. The room was clean and spacious. The motel is close to many restaurants and other amenities. You could apparently walk to one of the beaches, but we decided to drive and check out the many beaches along the road between Tofino and Ucluelet. I would stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights. Reception manager was unpleasant and uncooperative. Beds were great, room was clean. View is great. But room is small. With warm weather, we paid over$300 a night for no air conditioning. Tonight staying at Best Western. Wonderful improvement. Stay away from this place..definitely not worth $300.

Room prices vary but you can do best by contacting the hotel directly. Their location is great and Tofino is pricy during high season, so expect to pay at least $200 per night. It’s worth it at this motel.
