Booked a specific spot, they agreed to it - then told me when I arrived I was at a different one, with zero privacy and advertised as on the beach, but it had another spot directly in front. Asked to change.. all those beach side spots were booked for at least one night during my stay. Fair enough, asked which spots were free and chose one to move to. Paid for partial hookup- new spot didn't have that. They refused to refund part of the cost discrepancy. Fair enough. Went to charge a speaker from a vacant site with a power hookup.. they decided to fine me 50$. , And remove the cable. Alright, wonderful. When I was setting up, I parked in the adjacent vacant spot which had easier access to the site. Fined again. Okay, parked in the spot that was too small for my doors to open on my small size car. In the end, I paid for partial hookup on beach, and received a fine for using power on a site far from where they assured me I had booked the original spot. Multiple times and every morning waking to a new fine on my windshield for arbitrary money grabbing nonsense. It's off season and 95% of the campground was empty! Just wild. Bathrooms weren't clean, staff were incredibly rude, and it felt pretty invasive that staff would regularly walk around inspecting campspots. Half the spots in the area are pretty horrific... I can't imagine booking in the summer and getting one of the spots that has zero privacy and is the size of a small car. For the cost, it's pretty insane. If you want a nice beach side spot, find a different campground.

Still one of the nicest sites on the west coast (Tofino) and I believe the only place you can camp just steps from the beach. We have now been staying here for over 25 years, 1-3 weeks a year. It can be very full through most of the year but tends to be less busy in the late fall due to unpredictable weather but that's just the nature of the west coats. We always stay in site 8 which is the largest and nicest site on the waterfront but they do limit the waterfront sites to 18 foot trailers or smaller. It can be loud on weekends but that's why we carry ear plugs. :>)

Camped here in the Spring and Fall for 15 years in the forested sites. Never had any complaints and always enjoyed my stay. Then they turn it into just another price gouge fest…. more than doubling the rates by extending the their “high season” while increasing the rates overall. Last year it cost me $44 to camp here late Sept-early Oct and the campground was half empty. This year the minimum is $105 for the same dates / same sites + extra for showers and firewood. I won’t be returning.

Totally over priced, Loud all-night parties, garbage everywhere, rude staff, tiny campsites, rough surface to even put a tent on, although nice to be able to shower…… AVOID AT ALL COSTS, this is a garbage place!

This place is awful. Spent a week there, would have canceled but the multiple reviews saying they are illegally using a third party doing returns, yet it takes months... We figured " we had to book a year in advance, how bad could it be". Here is my rating system ( approved only by me) Staff* Rate: 2/10 Reason : I only saw two, one driving around in a truck, and the other girl sweeping the campsites(and blowing dust off the road, causing DIRT to fly over everything... "Why did you do this?") I heard there was a rude manager who doesn't manage nor does he even know what is happening at the camp grounds... Bathrooms* Rate: 3/10 Reason : The bathrooms work, you can use them, wash your hands and you have privacy. How ever they seemed to never be cleaned ( even checked after they were closed for cleaning... yikes), The showers have ferocious hot water and peep holes. Grounds* Rate: 1/10 Reason : The sites are WAY to small. Camping is not tents anymore, its huge houses on wheels. You need a space to park it and also stretch your legs. The sites are dirty, not maintained, the access to the beach is great, but that's a default setting for that location. Overall, don't waste your time, there are far better sites out there and it is super sad how the management and or owner have no idea how to talk to each other. The cost has doubled over the last couple of year... BUT its not going back into the site.

Be careful. We cancelled our reservation 4 months prior to arrival, but still haven't received our money back (6 months later). They have a cancelation policy on their website, but don't adhere to it.

This has been the worst customer service we’ve EVER experienced from a campground. We booked 4 sites with our extended family back in October and we’re told that we’d have to move to a different site for our last 2 days. That’s alright, we understand they’re booked up. But what made zero sense was when we noticed the site we were to move to had been vacant for 24hrs prior to us moving, they wouldn’t let us move over to it 2 hours earlier. They kept saying it “was their policy that you can’t move early or you’re charged a $25 fine”, shouldn’t your policy be to make sure the guests have the best possible experience, especially when they’re having to move campsites mid stay? When my father-in-law tried to reasons with them they were completely rude and unsympathetic. He’s a retired CPA and when he said that in all his years of owning businesses he’d never treated customers like that, the manager insulted him saying his businesses probably all failed. Seriously?! What kind of manager insults their customers? When my FIL tried to explain that we had a trailer, a puppy and a 3 year old with us and it would really help out if we could move early the manager just said “I don’t care”. “I don’t care” sums up the experience here. The showers are filthy and cost a fortune. $2 for 2 minutes. There are literally holes in the shower walls between stalls where the wood has rotted away and people can peep through and see you. At one point a staff member was using a leaf blower to blow dirt? pine needles? who knows what! off the road but all she succeeded in doing was blowing dust all over the campsites. Our clothes that were hanging out to dry were covered with dust. My sister-in-law is in a tent site and there has been a dog barking all night every night in the site next to them and no staff have done anything about it. DON’T STAY HERE! Campgrounds shouldn’t be allowed to get away with such horrible customer service just because they’re in a nice location. Oh and we’ve also heard from others that they’ve been denied their refunds even if cancelling within the allowed cancellation window.

One of the worse campgrounds I've ever been to. If you like camping directly beside 5 other people with ZERO privacy and listening to dogs bark all day, you'll love it here. Honestly, I did notice other sites that wouldn't be as bad as what we were given. I had reserved a site back in March and was able to pick any location, and ask for a site route. I asked for one that was somewhat private, but was given this. When I called he said it's usually all booked out by October and this was likely the last they had., but that doesn't make sense because as I said, I had my pick of any of the site routes. Tin wis sucks. People complained of the ocean sites, but I think they would of been a lot better than this trash. I've camped all over BC, obviously prefer the rec sites that are first come first serve so you can pick your location. But even in Banff AB being one of Canada's hot spots for tourism has sites aimed towards a real camping feel with privacy. So don't be deceived by the pictures and try and actually see this site if possible before making a reservation so you know what your wasting your money on.

This campground is trying to keep our refund. I see on many other reviews that they are trying to keep dozens of people's refunds. This is a very untrustworthy business. I am still waiting for my refund. I'll write reviews on as many platforms as I can and tell everyone about this shady operating practice. Overpriced campground anyway. Still waiting.....
