Very well situated and a comfortable bed. Free parking is also a plus. Nice cozy breakfast room with good breakfast. Nice neighborhood for walking and the guest house is well organized for off hours arrival. Would use this place again when visiting Vancouver.
When we were looking for a B&B for this trip, we just wanted a place that was affordable within a close range of where our family lives. The Douglas Guest House is not pretentious, it's not glamorous, it doesn't have the best location but it's...More

Residential neighbourhood to the ultra-wealthy, the gorgeous manor houses centred around The Crescent area are a fabled sight to behold. Shaughnessy is Vancouver's most verdant plotted neighbourhood, and its tree-lined streets, walking routes, bike trails, and charming public parks make for an ideal location to spend and afternoon communing with nature. Consequently, it is also the botanical centre of the
city, featuring conservatories and an expansive Botanical Garden, taming and sculpting the wild into seasonal viewing areas and enchanting landscapes. Quiet, elegant Shaughnessy excels at providing the Three Gs: Gardens, Golfing, and Galleries.
we would need 3 rooms with ensuite or private baths for three husband and wife couples. Would this be possible? What would the rates be for July 13,14 and 15? three of us are vegetarians. Would that pose a problem?

As a traveller using this B&B I would not have this type of information, only the management of the guest house. Certainly their breakfasts cater for vegetarian, I can certainly answer that.
