Great hotel combining comfort, sophistication and contemporary design. Spa-like bathrooms are best ever. Warm, courteous, and professional staff. Perfect location by the art gallery and pacific mall and a 20-minute walk along the harbour to Stanley park.

This is one of our favorite places to stay in the winter. It's an incredibly well-appointed hotel with lots of character. The restrooms in this hotel are gorgeous with a free-standing tub and radiant heated floors. You won't find a lot of buzz and activity as this is a smaller more quaint hotel. The hotel lobby bar is wonderful, I'd...

We stayed for two nights, and everything about this hotel is terrific. Hawksworth restaurant was wonderful, and the hotel has the finest Customer Service we have ever experienced. The hotel is centrally located, so we could walk to most of our destinations.

Recently brought my husband to Vancouver for Valentine's Day weekend. I originally was going to book The Four Seasons but on further inspection I came across Rosewood Georgia. So glad that I chose differently! The location is great, the staff was incredibly friendly, our room was clean, the hotel was beautiful and the restaurants were great. We didn't have one...

The Roaring Twenties was a decade of great economic growth and widespread prosperity and the Rosewood Hotel Georgia seeks to capture that feel, complete with the Prohibition nightclub in the basement which very admirably captures the rise of the speakeasy. I stayed in a deluxe king room which was nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, sitting area, and very spacious...

This hotel is grand and decadent in design. The staff is friendly, but a bit constrained by management rules (more on that in a minute.) First, our room was well appointed and clean. We booked the Deluxe King Room. The most comfortable bed, sitting area with couch and chair, and spacious marble bathroom. But absolutely no where to store your...

What a lovely experience! From the moment we drove up and met the concierge we knew it would be great. Walking in out of the cold to the stunning lobby with the glow of the fireplace we were greeted by the staff at the front desk. The room was gorgeous and the deep bathtub was to-die-for. Our dinner was fantastic...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.

“My room was close to elevator and facing interior courtyard. Normally I would ask for a room far from the elevator and facing a better view. However, I think probably this hotel has no inferior rooms. It was silent, no elevator or corridor noise - and the courtyard was attractive with a water feature and sculpture. Can't say enough good things. I've stayed in 10 hotels over the past 4 months and this was the best.”
