L'Hermitage is an elegant and sophisticated hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and address your needs promptly. The breakfast/dining area is intimate with quality food. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights and would highly recommend. They get all the small details right.

Hotel's Favourite
We had a 2 night stay booked at the end of a 3 week road trip and from the minute we checked in at reception, we had first class treatment right through our stay. We were even reminded that we stayed at the hotel exactly 7 years ago the exact same time! We had 2 breakfasts booked and 1 night dinner reservation for the last night of our stay and the food and service was outstanding. We had a lovely room at the front of the hotel overlooking the main road but with such comfortable beds, we had the best 2 nights sleep! We were so happy to come back and stay at this lovely hotel and would always recommend to anybody wanting a stay in Vancouver.

Clean room, comfortable bed, loved the option to rent a bike. Great location in the city, made things easier to bike or walk to. Hotel restaurant was nice, set up was like a comfortable lounge. Didnt check out the pool but saw people enjoying it. Did try the jacuzzi and it was a nice experience.

We stayed 5 nights. Hotel is small and boutique and shares the building with residents. Very clean and well appointed. Only complaint was that our bedroom door wouldn't close due to size of the bed and his the room was situated. That wasn't ideal since we traveled with children. We loved having a full kitchen. The pool was very nice and private. Lovely hot tub spa. Lots of things in walking distance for shopping and eating. Self parking was convenient and inexpensive ($25 CA per day). Staff was lovely and helpful. Would definitely go back. Views were beautiful.

This was our first visit to this hotel and it certainly didn't disappoint. The hotel is very well appointed and the front desk service was amazing during checkin/out - a real 5 star experience. Our room was pretty large with a huge bathroom and an outdoor terrace. Nothing to complain about here. We also took advantage of the onsite restaurant which is nestled towards the back of the hotel and offering both indoor/outdoor seating. However, the quality of food and service in the restaurant was 3-star at best, which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, top marks for this hotel.

I had terrific service from the moment I arrived until I left. Lovely, well-equipped room with a fireplace and a balcony. Enjoyed two excellent meals in the hotel restaurant. Conveniently located for restaurants, shops and public transportation. Would stay here again.

An absolutely fabulous first time trip with my 11 year old granddaughter! I had stayed at L’Hermitage once before and it had been beyond my expectations so when I had the opportunity to bring my granddaughter to a concert at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, which is just a few minutes walk away, I couldn’t think of a better place to stay. The service once again was superb and all staff friendly, gracious, and so helpful. My granddaughter kept saying how nice everyone was. The restaurant food was so delicious that we didn’t want to eat anywhere else, even though there were lots of great restaurants near by. We walked to catch a little ferry to take us to Granville Island and Science World was a short walk and Skytrain ride away which was a fun first time experience for both of us. It was PERFECT in every way…….wonderful memories created !! ……thank you again from both of us

Gorgeous hotel. Luxurious, spotless, impeccable service. I would stay here again. The restaurant was lovely for brunch. They have a steam room. It’s quiet. It feels as high end as any Four Seasons. Loved it.

They let us check in a couple hours earlier and gave us a much unexpected upgrade! Staff was wonderful in the lobby and in the restaurant as well, the room was nice and cozy, super clean (I’m a clean freak) and both the room and the towels didnt smell like harsh chemicals which I loved. Super walkable to some of the tourist spots and lots of restaurants and cafes. 10/10 will stay here again next time in Vancouver :)
