We spent 2 weeks in Dundarave suite for Christmas, it turns to a very special wonderful experience. It's sparkling clean and very comfortable, the kitchen settings is just like I was cooking at my own house, only ever nicer and better equipped, and the build-in temperature controlled wine cellar. I can tell whoever managing this place is so caring with their heart, we found the print out 6pages of user manual under the coffee table, it gives all the instructions towards everything, ex, how to use the Milk froth beside the Nepressor coffee machine, where is the extra portable electronic heater, various well rated restaurants on this street, whom you could contact when you have a question, etc. Like we even have a real land telephone set with local number for my parents to phone me at stay. This is my son's favorite if you can believe it, we have the key to access our mail box for his online shopping delivery. That was awesome.…

We have just returned from a 2 week stay in the Alma beach apartments (Ambleside studio) in the beautiful city of Vancouver. The accommodation was perfect for our needs, quiet, bright and comfortable, beautifully appointed and equipped with everything we required for our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and in house laundry was available. The apartment is located in the delightful district of Kitsilano a five minute walk to the sea, bus routes available within 100m of the apartment allowing easy access to most parts of the city, downtown a 15 minute ride away. Supermarkets, shops & restaurants were available locally. We did not use a car during our stay and the public transport system was cheap, clean and efficient. We would highly recommend Alma beach to anyone visiting Vancouver.…

The location is perfect for short or long stays in Vancouver, everything is at your fingertips. Kitsilano is a great location as public transportation is less than half a block away. You do not need a car. The ocean as well as Kits pool and beach are an easy walk for those wanting a beach experience. The restaurants in the neighbourhood are within a 5 minute walk...happy to know Ambleside was equipped with all you needed to enjoy your stay. We appreciated the welcome pack of milk, bread, juice, cereal, cookies, tea and sleeve of nespresso capsules. There was even dishwasher and laundry capsules provided. The suite was spotlessly clean on arrival and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy. Access was exactly as owner said in email. All access doors are coded so we always felt secure. It is 2 mins walk to bus stop which was very convenient for downtown and UBC. There’s a good choice of restaurants within walking distance. The owners were very easy to deal with and extremely prompt replying to any questions we had. We really couldn’t fault this property and would have no hesitation returning.

We decided to offer the welcome pack as often when guests arrive late to a new location they are a little hungry or do not know where to shop. The “starter” pack can help you survive until the morning. The Cobbs bread is almost like cake, so delicious. The location is really perfect for getting around Vancouver without a car. We often take the bus downtown, parking is then not an issue. We appreciate you reviewing us on Trip Advisor, thank you for your time. Top floor apartment was bright and comfortable... good area, a short walk to the waterfront, altogether a pleasant experience. The smoke alarm did go off on two occasions, once in middle of the night and once later evening, the very nice owner came over to adjust it.

‘Perfect !’➖ Nothing !➕ Great location in beautiful Kitsilano... easy access to downtown with nearby bus. Studio comfortable, clean and perfectly set up for self catering if required... perfect for relaxing before we returned home to Australia after three months of motorbike touring through Canada and Alaska.. highly recommend!

We shared the 3 bed suite with our son, his wife and the grandkids. There was a lovely park just over the road, and a stony beach a few minutes away. All the delights of Kitsilano were close and Transit links to elsewhere in Vanvouver started at the corner with frequent bus services. The accommodation was clean and well equipped . The outside space was small but great for socialising and eating outdoors. Being in the basement suite we were lucky to have considerate people staying above us for all but the final night.

All Alma Beach Suites are perfect. Just perfect. I can walk to everything I need and everything I love in Vancouver, although sometimes I take the bus because it's so convenient and the drivers and kind and helpful and friendly. Vancouver is a wonderful place and whenever I visit, I stay here. You can't beat the location and you can't beat the amenities. Everything is kept ship shape and all guests have a quiet, comfortable home away from home to relax in. Roomy suites with beds that make you want to sleep in late. I'm always so grateful for the welcome basket in the fridge. I love this place!
