Pan Pacific Hotel had provided one of the most memorable experience for our company staff. Food and hotel services are exceptionally good. Staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend to any company that has upcoming business events. You will not be disappointed.
Location, location, location! This hotel is at the port. There are several restaurants close by. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. We have stayed here several times, and never had anything, but an exceptional stay. The breakfast buffet offers a great selection of good food.
My friends and I booked pan Pacific hotel Vancouver one month ago. We got to the front desk. They got one room ready and connecting room wasn’t ready. Lady at the front desk said it will be 5-10mins. We waiting 20mins. We went back told lady we have reservations at restaurant we need to get ready soon. She told us to go to room leave your stuff. We got ready and saw housekeeping outside. She was cleaning other room I ask her do you know how long? She said one hour. I was really upset. We had no choice got ready left. Second night my friend have to leave. Valet couldn’t found her car apparently someone moved. When they found it. Car wouldn’t start. They told us valet person left the lights on. It took a hour. I went back to the room we ask for room service for drink. It took 45mins. Time to check. Front desk charge me almost 1000.00 on my credit. I told him this is wrong amount and showed him the email too. He said I need to talk to my manager Stanislaw stankevsky ( manager) came to the front. I told him the what happen. He didn’t care at all. I showed him the email this what I got. He told I need to pay it now. The attitude of the manager was horrible. I will not or any of my friends will stay there. I’ll be writing a email to the head office too.…
We had some issues with the hotel. Upon checkin despite traveling with an infant and requesting a king room, we were allotted a double bed room. My wife argued and spoke to the manager who “found” us a king room. The hotel is not baby friendly . We were at the hotel for a wedding and none of the event room bathrooms had change tables for babies. They don’t have diaper pails and told us to put dirty diapers in the hallway. The rooms were clean though and the hotel food was good .
Came here for a conference and decided to stay at pan pacific due to its high ratings of 4.5 star hotel but when i got to my room the bathroom was completely molded and ac didn’t work. Attached photo showing mold on the bathroom curtain. Management never reached out to me and it’s been 5 days now. The lack of response shows the level of care to their customer - they don’t care. The room seemed like it was never cleaned. I would not recommend staying here again. This was really unacceptable experience.
On the plus side, the harbour-view rooms have a gorgeous view, and the restaurant (5 Sails) is superb. On the minus side, they do not offer housekeeping. They say they are short-staffed. That's a pretty glaring problem for a hotel that bills itself as 5-star!
Stayed for a week. Everything was great, friendly staff, perfect location on the waterfront with lots of restaurants and steps away from the train. My room wasn’t ready upon checkin at 5pm and neither was the next tier upgrade that I normally get by booking through AMEX. I couldn’t wait for a couple of hours for my room to be ready so I paid extra for the panoramic harbor view room. It was a breathtaking room and I didn’t mind the cost but it really should have been complementary.
Sheets with holes in them, bad pillows, lukewarm water in the hot tub at the pool with jets that barely function. Spa/workout room in the parking garage and the elevator that goes there was locked out for an event at the hotel with no signage for guests. All examples of no attention to detail, whatsoever. Further example, we are 3 people on the reservation but we only got 2 robes and barely any towels - even though I had to provide names at the front desk of my additional “guests” - my 2 kids - who were also on the reservation. No daily housekeeping included and even the drinks in room - tea/coffee and water aren’t replenished unless you call down. Also only 2 water on first day for 3 people. Amazing view of the harbour, quiet, good location.
Top notch property, location and especially staff. Staff went out of their way to get to know us and make sure we were comfortable. No request was viewed as too much. Property location is second to none, located at the heart of the waterfront with easy access to other popular sections.
The only issues I had were the room was 22c even though I adjusted the thermostat to 16c over night. Also with the plexiglass at the front desk, hard to understand the staff. I didn’t hear that they wouldn’t have room cleaning everyday. I had to remake my bed and reuses towels that I thought would be exchanged for new ones. No big deal, just didn’t hear them when they explained it.
