We stayed overnight before beginning our trip through British Columbia. We arrived tired after our flight from the States and were soon refreshed thanks to the polished service of the staff. The service @ Pan Pacific was excellent from the time the Doorman took our bags until we checked out. The Hotel is ``elegant'' without being stuffy. We had lunch...

One of the best hotels in downtown Vancouver, the Pan Pacific sits atop Canada Place with a spectacular view of the harbor and the city. Expansive rooms, all with a view (choose the west side for the best views), that are nicely furnished and maintained with care. Excellent staff who are welcoming and knowledgeable about the city. Good lobby area...

We arrived early only to find we could in fact check in early and that we had been upgraded! What we got was a fabulous view of Canada Place, Stanley Park and the North Shore mountains, not to mention float planes and cruise ships. Our hotel room was clean with crisp white linens on the bed and a large bathroom...

Stayed for 1 night in Aug. Was down for work and this hotel is beautiful. Quiet, clean, beautiful ocean view. Needed a bandaid and they were there within minutes. Easy check out in room. Staff was helpful at all times. Nice and close to everything down town. Will stay there again for personal travels.

Look, there are very few hotels in Canada that can deliver a exclusive, executive, top notch & first class service to all their guests. One of the few is the Pan Pacific in Vancouver. With gorgeous views, this hotel exudes glamour, glitz & beauty. The moment you walk in, the large, grandiose lobby makes you feel like a King or...

Our suite was on the top floor and included concierge service of breakfast and evening cocktail hour with all you would expect. The suite was nice and included free Wi-Fi. The waterfront location is excellent for walking and finding other restaurants. An added and unexpected benefit was transfer to our cruise ship. Peter, the bellman, picked up our luggage and...

We stayed both before and after a cruise and found no fault with this hotel. It's location is not just perfect for "cruisers", but is a great base for exploring the city and surroundings. All the attraction shuttle buses leave from outside the hotel and this tends to make it busy along with the pedestrian and vehicular traffic on cruise...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
