My friends and I stayed at the Pan Pacific for one night, before a cruise. The staff at this hotel is exceptional. Everything from check-in through check-out ran smoothly; one small glitch (requested a roll-away bed, got a baby crib!) was corrected immediately. We had a corner harbor view room and it was incredible. We were able to watch cruise...

Excellent pre or post cruise location. Elevators in hotel go down to embarkation level. Wi fi not free but different priced packages available. On main floor of building is a connection to the food court. All types of food available...Cinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Subway, pizza, McDonalds, Starbucks etc. Also connected to the skytrain.

The location is perfect - on the one hand close to the harbor and to Stanley park and on the other hand, it's right in the center of downtown Vancouver. Although we had a very unpleasant incident there, the front desk supervisor dealt with it tn the most professional way. The room was very clean and had a great harbor...

What a great location, fantastic views of the harbor, mountains and cruise ships coming in and out of the harbor. This probably one of the finest hotels that we have stayed in for a long time. Nice well appointed rooms, great beds and shower. Service is absolutely the best with a shout out to the Bell Captain, Phil who explained...

The first stay we had a room on a high floor looking out at the harbour, great view and second stay on lower floor where view was not as good. Hotel itself is very good and service was faultless...

Decided to spend a little cash on myself , instead of flow through to the kids. The room was bright , clean and a great view. The Pan Pacific Club was a breath of fresh air , a good self serve breakfast , cocktails and hot and cold appetizer's in the afternoon. A stunning view . Staff was very friendly...

Lovely hotel located on the waterfront and close to downtown. Lots of eating places in the vicinity. The harbour view rooms have fantastic views and the rooms are large and comfortable. We had major issues with the internet though and I would not recommend this hotel for the business traveler or anyone who wants to stay connected. Wifi is not...

We went to a gala in event at the Pan and chose to stay overnight. Great idea. A great night sleep in a very nice room. A little more expensive than what I am used to but the room was very spacious and comfortable. A little annoyed that they won't let you use the bell trolley to get yourself to...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
