Delightful, friendly, beautiful experience. Wonderfully appointed, functional room with a magnificent view. Room service was quick, food was beautifully presented and tasty. The outdoor pool was perfectly heated, in order for me ( a serious swimmer) to swim in cool rainy weather. ALL staff were...More

Great 1st Class Hotel that acts li ke they are First Class from the doormen to reception, to the maids, and the staff in the Club. Wowzers! It was a hit with us and we will be back. Many places charge first class but they...More
First, this is the smallest hotel room we have stayed in since... we can't remember.
(This includes small hotel rooms in Europe, where we expected smaller rooms, but even the smallest was larger than this one in Vancouver.)
We are on a Club Floor. We...More

My wife and I have stayed at the Pan Pacific Vancouver many times. In fact, it's our GO-TO place in the city. The reservation process was a bit odd in that we went through the corporate system, rather than the hotel as we usually do....More
Attended the Christmas Toy Drive and the Pan had a discount rate for the night. Felt like royalty as soon as we arrived - they really seek to pamper their guests!
Definitely recommend also checking out the spa in the hotel :)

Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also
popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.

As per your fellow TripAdvisor readers, the easiest and usually quickest transfer to the Pan Pacific Vancouver is via the Canada Line (aka Skytrain/rapid transit/subway) directly from YVR to Waterfront Station. Once off the Canada Line, you will see signage directing you to Canada Place, which is just northwest of the station on the water - easily identified by the 5 large white sails. If you have a lot of luggage, then a taxi will take you directly to the Pan Pacific Vancouver at a cost of $35CAD.
