This hotel sits on the harbour front. The cruise ships moor here. We had been on the MS Oosterdam from Alaska and went straight off the ship up the stairs to the hotel lobby. Bars and restaurants abound in the area and you can walk to so many areas of the city. We took a seaplane from here to Victoria,...

The 2 night stay for a business trip, included a beautiful view of the harbor and a lovely king room with a welcome package. It worked out that a business trip became a nice couples trip with an opportunity to wander around Vancouver, particularly the seawall.

Excellent hotel and perfect location for many activities. Everything about this hotel was beautiful. We had a corner room up on the 20th floor. The room was very large and had a garden tub with a huge window. The bed was very comfortable. Friendly staff and if you are taking a cruise, they will handle your bags the morning of...

Once again we had a terrific stay. All staff from management, front desk, bell service and maid service were professional, pleasant and accommodating. Will be back soon. Highly recommend. Perfect location downtown to enjoy landmarks, ocean, shopping and views.

After a cruise to Alaska and Canada our final port was Vancouver and i can think of no better hotel to choose to spend a few days in Vancouver. It is situated in Canada place where the cruise ships dock so just drop of your luggage and enjoy the hotel and surrounding area.

The spectacular waterfront location overlooking the harbour ensures a constant stream of interesting external activity (especially from the 21st floor ! )and internally , this hotel ticks all the boxes as well. Courteous and attentive service ,immaculate cleanliness and top quality appointment combine to put this hotel right up there with the best.

My room was on the 16th floor with a fantastic view of the harbor, mountains and sunrise/sunset. Hotel is right on the water and has 23 floors. Seaplanes taking off and landing below every 20 minutes all day was a little noisy, but for me, awesome to watch. Also fun to watch the cruise ship dock below. Quiet and no...

What a lovely hotel. Built with part of the Vancouver Convention Center, Cruise Terminal and World Trade Center offices. The hotel structure is odd when entering the Lobby, but the location and convenience being at Canada Place is worth the stay here. Our stay was pre and post Cruise (total of 4 days at the hotel). My family of four stayed here before boarding a cruise ship. The room was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered room service and the food was very tasty. My kids also loved the pool. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
