This hotel used to be great. But the standards and quality have become totally unacceptable. I stay here very often but I have decided to take my business elsewhere. On my last stay I was given a suite where the bedroom has no windows 811...More

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It's nice central hotel for walking to shopping, restaurants, and sports venues. Service is outstanding. Good price for luxury service. We don't park at the hotel. We park at the shopping center garage (24 hour access) and...More
We stayed in La Grande Residence for our first few days there and really loved it, lots of space though the apartment was a little dark. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The location is fantastic and we were able to walk...More
Sutton Place is on par for nicer hotels in a downtown setting. Smallish rooms, not many extras in the rooms, breakfast close to $30 a head. Staff were good. Biggest pluses were location and free parking.
From the moment we stepped into the lobby we were welcomed. We stayed 2 nights and the bed was so comfortable I could have taken it home. The service was exceptional. The meal in the restaurant was beautiful and the waiter was very attentive, would...More

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
