This hotel has one of the best locations in Vancouver, near the sea and in the limit of the downtown. The hotel has a strong infrastructure, but the rooms facing the inside of the 2 towers are a bit small. Nevertheless the sea view and the morning breakfeast in the terrace compensates the rest.

This is a great hotel if you are planning on doing trips to Stanley park and Robson Street. It is situated on a quieter area of Vancouver (away from the night life), with beautiful views. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable beds. Like all other Westins, EVERYTHING will cost extra money (parking, internet, etc.) so the price can...

The Westin Bayshore is on the water close to Stanley Park. The location was supurb. Close to everything. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We stayed in the tower with a harbor view. Definitely worth the upgrade to have the view. The only major complaint, was the noise of the elevators going up and down all night. The tower...

I stayed here with my family for a long weekend. The location is great with beautiful views but the room we had was at best okay. We booked a junior suite which was disappointing. The room had been updated but the bathroom was small as was the living area. The pullout sofa we planned to use for the kids was...

Well appointed, clean rooms. Great facility for conferences (was there to attend one). Only 4 stars because I (and several other attendees) had messed-up reservations and the staff member (night manager) I first dealt with was totally unhelpful. Had to wait for the day mgr. to sort things out the next day. All other staff were amazing - polite and...

I stayed here for a few nights in the Spring and had an amazing experience. From the time you check in til the valet brings your car around to leave, the staff is attentive and friendly. More 4-star than 5-star and less service than might be expected. No free Wifi etc etc, The bar closed at 23.00 h. But we have had a junior-suite with harbour view. Wow fantastic. This was our pre-trip hotel for our train across Canada trip. We had been to Vancouver before and stayed at the Pan Pacific, which is also beautiful but a little more out of the way than the Westin. Rooms, grounds, restaurant and concierge exceptional. I would recommend it no matter what your reason for being in Vancouver.

We stayed 5 nights as we had a convention on site for 3 days. We booked 9 months ahead and we were very happy with our assigned room on the 7th floor, facing the harbour. Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
