We didn’t mind, Before we left the counter to move rooms, the supervisor Varun was quick with an apology about our first room and made an incredible gesture to upgrade us to one of the penthouse units on the 16th, to make up for our inconvenience... It was a very nice large suite, with a wrap around balcony, den and very comfy king bed... Again, the decor such as a paint job that may have been chic 20 years ago seemed strangely and funnily out of place for such a nice room...

My wife and I were extremely please with our recent stay at the Executive Hotel Le Soleil. The service we received throughout our stay was excellent... Before our stay, we needed to modify the dates of our reservation and the agent on the telephone was very helpful in making sure we retained the special discounts we had on our original reservation... When we checked in, the clerk at the front desk was very friendly and helpful... In fact, whomever was at the front desk or at the front door when we came and went during our stay was exceptionally courteous... We used the valet parking service during our stay and the attendants were always prompt, polite and courteous... On the day of our departure, we encountered a problem with our car battery and had to call BCAA to resolve the issue... The attendants were very helpful in dealing with the problem and directing the BCAA driver to our car in the parking garage... It is obvious that this hotel is very well managed and staffed with excellent employees... I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone who is traveling to Vancouver, BC...

We always experience professional, friendly and attentive services from all the staff members at Le Soleil - from the front line, to housekeeping and the valet. Recently, we booked a one night stay at the hotel and bumped into Ryan Evangelista (Guest Services Manager) who instantly recognized my husband and myself even though it was a year ago when we stayed with our family and our puppy... He remembered us and was even able to recount details of our last stay... It was really impressive and he went out of his way to help us get a room ready, in the end, we were upgraded to a penthouse which was really nice as we drove some distance in cold weather... There is great teamwork plus a close - knit family like culture at this hotel which extends into the way the staff treat all the customers... I have never met such kind and accommodating staff that make you feel like they care about you; and not being treated like a ‘customer’, but rather a genuine feeling of care in which they treat you like you are their friend and will go above and beyond to help... The managers and the front desk staff were very quick and informative... They all had big smiles on their faces that made us feel so welcomed and had also taken the time to chat with us while checking us in and had greeted my girlfriend a happy birthday... They had greeted us at the door and although we had no car to park, they had assisted us with our bags without being asked as our hands were full... The hotel is in great location, very close to Downtown Vancouver. The rooms are spacious, however the bed provided for the third person is not really comfortable... The breakfast is à la carte, and you can choose from the menu of the restaurant of the hotel... It was quite tasty and portions are big... I would recommend this hotel to everyone who looks for something in Downtown... Also, the cruise ship terminal is just 5 minute walk down the street!...

The staff are fantastic and the breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was of a really high standard... Le Soleil is the best hotel! I had stayed here over the weekend with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday and this hotel made the occasion even more special... Everything about the hotel had exceeded my expectations and will surely be our #1 hotel to visit... The managers and the front desk staff were very quick and informative... They all had big smiles on their faces that made us feel so welcomed and had also taken the time to chat with us while checking us in and had greeted my girlfriend a happy birthday... They had greeted us at the door and although we had no car to park, they had assisted us with our bags without being asked as our hands were full... The concierge had given us great suggestions on where to eat and what to do in the city as we were there for a concert the first night but had no idea what to do for the second, and with his suggestions, it made the second day a lot easier to plan... The location of the hotel made it very easy for us to get a lot done, and see Vancouver in such a short amount of time... The Alouette Bistro also had amazing food!... Also, big thanks to the managers for the wine, it was a pleasant surprise!... We enjoyed staying at Le Soleil very much and we will surely be back!...
