Beautiful classic hotel close to everything you need. What sets the Hotel Soleil apart from other hotels is the care and consideration of the superb staff who work here. Everyone is professional, polite and there is obviously an ethic of going above and beyond for...More
I think it’s my fifth time here. It’s consistently brilliant, rooms are great, staff are great

Hotel is old fashioned comfort. Staff were exceptional and location was well placed away from the hustle and bustle.
The room was very spacious and comfortable and clean. Overall the experience was very pleasant.

The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. The common spaces are a lot smaller than other properties and no pool (altho' the newish YWCA is right next door). The rooms are good for kids with a sofa bed in most I think. Also soundproofing seems pretty good. Its right downtown but that means very accessible to the SeaBus and the waterfront attractions of Vancouver. So I think I would rate it kid-friendly...hope that helps!
