Our office held a luncheon in the Banquet room of Hotel LeSoleil in Vancouver in Feb. It was very disappointing and fell short of expectations. The response from management on our feedback was unsatisfactory and frustrating. • On arrival at the hotel there was no signage to point the guests to the banquet room and some of the guests found...

This was a very nice, older hotel. The bell hops were very helpful with luggage and dining ideas. The room was a suite, but very small. There wasn't a lot of room to walk around, but the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious with a glassed in shower and large counter top for all our stuff. We even used...

Greeted with a smile. Place is located in a fine location in the city. The staff was super helpful with dinner, cocktail and coffee locations. Room was clean and the service was very friendly. I will stay with them again and at the Toronto location too.

Dear Willow, I was sorry to hear that your recent stay didn't live up to your previous visits. I have done some investigating and the Executive One Bedroom King suite that you booked this stay is the same room type as your last visit in 2016. Although the room is located on a different floor the layout & amenities are...

Could not find a room in the city because the concert was sold out, but was able to get one of the last rooms available here. Excellent interactions with all the staff. Very friendly and accommodating - will be back for the next trip to Vancouver in June.

We have stayed here often and enjoy the central location. The beds are SUPER COMFY and the rooms are so quiet, we hear nothing from beside or above. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. The only critique would be a wee spruce up of the wall paper and paint.

We were five sisters and our mother staying one night prior to a cruise. Everything about this hotel was great - location, rooms, and especially friendly, helpful staff. Lots of restaurants close, and very good proximity to the cruise terminal.. We wished we'd stayed longer!

This hotel is amazing. We stayed here for our anniversary and we got upgraded to a corner suite with a view. The room was pretty incredible. The bed was comfortable too. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of many major attractions including Gastown, the Steam Clock, the waterfront, and Stanley Park. The price is also very reasonable. I...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
