My family and I have just had a wonderful weekend at this city centre hotel. A very comfortable suite was complimented by excellent staff, particularly in the restaurant and on reception. The outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub were great fun in the freezing rain! Perfectly situated for shopping malls and Rogers arena. We'll be back!

Hotel's Favourite
From start to finish, this was a good experience. We had stayed here previously, when it was under another brand and nothing has changed. All the staff is great (friendly and willing to help) from the porters to front desk and housekeeping. Extra towels were delivered within 10 minutes. It has a lovely pool. The beds are firm and not worn out like so many other hotels we have been to. Highly recommended plus a great location for shopping and business.

We stayed as a family and while the kids used the outdoor pool we discovered a light and a two foot electrical cord were floating in the pool. My husband was also badly cut on his foot following being in the hot tub. Hotel did not address these safety concerns.

Dear vancouvertrip2021, Thank you for your comments. Our apologies for finding a light and a cord in the pool. Unfortunately, we believe it was a stupid prank by someone as the cover for the cord and the light is screwed on and clamped tight. We would have never known it until someone reports it like you did or when we do maintenance first thing in the morning. It was fixed promptly. We recall your husband did come to the front desk but could not locate any cuts to the foot and told us not to worry about it. First aid was offered also. He also did not know where he cut it from. We apologize if you feel we were not upto the task. We take safety very seriously and action quickly. Safety of our guests and employees are important. We hope you were pleased with the overall service and the hotel itself was acceptable to you. We sincerely hope to see you again. Sincerely Pradeep Puri

We stayed in room 705 over the US Labor Day weekend (Sept). Maybe because we had higher expectations of a Hilton, we were somewhat disappointed. While the location was spectacular, right smack in the middle of downtown Vancouver with Robson street couple blocks away and plenty of dining options within a stone's throw, the hotel was older and our room was smaller than we expected (and the pictures). The safe in the room also didn't work, something I would expect to have been checked in between stays. The elevators were also so slow that being on a lower floor, we regularly waited 10+ minutes for one with enuf space and ended up going down the stairs on many occassions when we got tired of waiting. The staff though was amazing, especially the bell hops. They have only a few spaces for oversized cars outside (and more expensive for parking) which had no availability when we were there. I had a cargo box but the bell hops helped me take off, store, and install back on when we checked out. The pool was nice but we didn't use since it was on the colder side and gym facilities also quite nice.

Dear flyboyarl, Thank you very much for your comments. We apologize that the safe in your did not work. We hope it was fixed quickly upon request. We are surprised to learn you felt our rooms were small. Mostly our guests appreciate the 2 rooms that they get for the price of one. Functioning of elevators is solely dependent on how busy we are. And we have been busy. We are glad you enjoyed the service provided by the staff. We hope to see you, should you decide to come back to Vancouver. Sincerely, Pradeep Puri
