This is a great location to stay at. The staff here are the best. A shout out to Jesse and Nikola in the breakfast restaurant. These guys are the definition of the best servers ever. They have served me every year that we have stayed here and look forward to going back. The valet personnel always remember your name and...

On our first trip to Vancouver we chose this hotel for three reasons: 1)Reviews on TripAdvisor; 2)Location; and 3)Because I'm an SPG Gold member. We were upgraded to a higher room (29th floor) and got the reserved corner suite. The corner suite is nice because you get two huge walls of floor-to-ceiling windows that give you an amazing view of...

My husband and I arrived a day early in Vancouver in advance of a cruise. I used my Starpoints for a free night, which was a big financial help. The property was very clean and our suite was perfect: huge bathroom, two flat screen tvs, microwave, wet bar, and the Heavenly Bed. We did not hear a peep from other...

I just returned from a wonderful stay at the Westin Grand Vancouver with my spouse. The hotel has the 4 c's - central location, courteous staff, coffee ready, and creative cuisines near and far. Located a block away from the Canada Line, a couple of blocks from buses, around the block from Budget Rent a car and of course walking...

I've stayed here about 20 times this year (seriously!). I like this hotel a lot. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is great and the rooms are large and comfortable. The only knock on this hotel is that they *often* have elevator problems. As a tall narrow building with only two guest elevators, when one is broken,...

Staying in Robson Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Robson Street
Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs. Known as "Vancouver's Runway," if a new trend is on the rise, you'd spot it here first.
