This charming little hotel is perfect if you don't want to walk through a big lobby with many people. It takes 2 minutes from the lobby to your room. The room is not big but immaculate and updated; it has a great bar and restaurant. Their breakfast is simple but just right. And the best French bakery, Beaucoup, is opening downstairs soon—a short distance to everywhere and Vancouver City Center Skytrain.
We stayed at the St Regis Hotel for our annual girls getaway and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The location is perfect - almost everything is within walking distance. I can’t say enough about the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. And the rooms were great. Think upscale but in a boutique sort of setting. If you don’t like the big hotel chains this is the place for you. I would definitely stay there again.
Stayed here for the 3rd year in succession having booked a room prior to arrival - I’ve always done this. This year we were given a room with a small double bed and shower. The last couple of visits we were given a room with 2 beds and a bath. We asked to change the room and the manager was unhelpful and argumentative. He wanted to charge extra - this was eventually rescinded after much and un- necessary heated discussion. The newly granted room had a window that was opaque. Should I have asked for a window with a view also? Oh and there was no kettle - again on request. My point is just how much detail do you need to go into when booking ? On the plus side it’s a comfortable hotel ( subject to the above) and in a great downtown position. The included breakfast was well prepared and perfectly adequate. …
Absolutely great boutique hotel. Simply great service, staff, quality, cleanliness, facilities, price, breakfast and restaurant/bar. Cannot fault it or recommend enough. The location is great and is easy access to downtown Vancouver.
I stayed at the St. Regis for 10 days for a conference at the Vancouver Convention Center. The room was spacious, with lots of natural light and tasteful design, and super comfy bed. The room had everything I needed. What absolutely stood out at this hotel is the staff, from the friendliness and helpfulness of the reception staff, to the staff at the breakfast restaurant. They made my stay that more more pleasant and welcoming. Would definitely return to this hotel.
First time stay, and when we are next in the area, not our last. The rooms are tasteful with excellent quality furnishings. Its central position has been mentioned before many times. Front of house staff were great even remembering our names, and the gentleman helping people with luggage on standby near the door was always very gracious. The only room for improvement would be the (included) breakfast): the choice was good - continental or "full" but the food didn't hit any highs particularly the sweet potato hash browns which are, I suppose, trendy but don't crisp up like usual potatoes. I think the hotel is missing an opportunity here because if we ate an outstanding breakfast then we'd consider more dining in the evening at their restaurant. Breakfast staff were also excellent by the way. Do go & enjoy ! …
We booked the St. Regis for a birthday weekend in Vancouver. We enjoyed all aspects of this boutique hotel: the well appointed rooms, attentive staff, sit down breakfast and central location. Would highly recommend the St. Regis for your next trip to Vancouver.
From the moment I walked through the front door at St. Regis, my experience was outstanding. The staff were friendly and professional and even helped me set up a last-minute video conference call before check-in. The room was flawless. All the details were considered. It was well-appointed, immaculate and design-forward. The bed was beautifully made and comfortable. If you drive an EV, don't look farther. The chargers were located directly in front of you when you entered the secure parking area and included at no charge. I am aware of no other property in Vancouver that has a set-up that comes close. When I departed, I met Jeremy, General Manager, who graciously took the time to ensure my stay was perfect, which it was. I will be back soon.
I stayed at Saint Regis for eight nights, and I couldn’t be happier. Excellent breakfast is included. Staffs are very friendly and quick to accommodate needs. The rooms are very clean and good size. I enjoyed my stay a lot and I will definitely go back. There is no fridge inside rooms, hotel can provide fridge for a fee. $5/night Location is in the middle of the downtown and walking distance to the Art Gallery or many more attractions however this means you need an earplug to be able to sleep at nights specially over the weekends.
Top value. Great place to stay-2 great bars-pumping. Recently refurished rooms-a third of the price of a great hotel with the same name in New York. Book directly with the hotel for a great price-very close to airport connection train.
