Stayed here for two nights in August (26-28) with my husband after three weeks in Asia on our way back to Toronto. For the same price you could not find a better location (easily walkable to the touristy parts of Vancouver), breakfast included, local AND long d calls included, and daily membership to the Steve Nash gyms. We took advantage...

My friend and I stayed in this hotel in March 2013 for a business trip. The staff is what makes this place stand out above others. Every staff member who we encounter was very helpful and sincerely friendly. I almost afraid to write such a good review in fear that the rates we go up. The gym and breakfast an...

My husband and I stayed at the St. Regis the Summer of 2011. We selected this hotel due to the reviews from Trip Advisor. This is a gem of a hotel. The staff couldn't have been better. Ryan, Brittney and the rest of the team were fantastic. Every day they greeted us with a smile and provided us guidance on...

I was so impressed with this hotel - from the warm front desk staff, to the hand-written note in my room from the manager welcoming me to the hotel, to the delicious breakfast the next morning. Incredible. Room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and the location can't be beat. And the real kicker - the cost was so much less...

We have stayed at many hotels to meet and hold our regular meetings. The staff by far are the best we have experienced. Cleaning staff, front desk, door, pub, restaurant, all are exceptionally friendly and helpful. This boutique hotel has the best renovations I have seen to an older hotel. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Wonderful showers and...

This was truly a great find by my better half. The standard of service at the hotel are similar to a 5 hotel but without having to pay for all of the extras like bottled water, breakfast, wifi and fitness centre. The rates are also much cheaper than other hotels with similar standards. Great location and friendly staff. The free...

What's not to like about the St. Regis? The location is fantastic, rooms are clean & comfy, wifi is snappy, security is excellent but not oppressive. The staff is A++. Don't forget to bring a twonnie (or more) when you go down for breakfast - the service is great & well worth a tip.

There were 4 of us on a business trip for a mid week stay. We were all very impressed with the location, the very helpful staff and the modern/clean decor. Also very impressive were the extensive amenities, including a hot breakfast in the morning-for a very reasonable price. And the bed was so comfortable, I had a such a great...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
