We stayed at the St. Regis for 2 nights following an Alaska Cruise. The hotel is in a very good location for exploring the city as it is relatively close to Canada Place, Gastown and public transportation. They had our bags for us since we arrived early. We came back from a morning of exploring to find our room ready...

My stay at the St Regis was memorable for several reasons, all wonderful!.The St Regis is located in the heart of Vancouver in a beautifully restored hertige building. They have kept the charm and integrity of the design and included exceptional updates. I was met at the door by a well dressed, polite doorman offering to assist me. The front...

Great location, lot's of shops, bars and restaurants around the hotel. Amazing service from the staff and reception always trying to help and ensure guests are enjoying their stay. Rooms are nicely decorated, comfy beds and amenities. The only negative point would be the noise, I had a room on the back of the hotel (401) where lot's of aircon...

Very nice hotel, the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The staff are professional, friendly and very accomodating. I highly recommend St. Regis to anyone looking for a great boutique hotel experience. Free wi-fi, free long distance calls and breakfast included in the price, a perfect combination for any business/pleasure stay.

My review is a little late. My husband and I traveled to Vancouver back in September of this year and stayed at the St. Regis for four days. Very nice boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver. They offer a parking pass if you come with your own rental car. It's underground parking and very safe. Rooms are very...

We stayed at the St. Regis for a weekend getaway after hearing about it from friends. I had always thought of it as a place well past its prime, but we were delighted with what we found. The hotel has had a complete re-modelling from its seedy old days, becoming a wonderful new boutique hotel. The rooms are clean and...

I picked this hotel based on proximity to the business I was visiting and I would go back now every time. The hotel was well appointed, very nice rooms, clean, good service. The bar and grill attached had great soups and an IPA on tap.

My first trip to Vancouver for a family wedding staying at the St Regis following a recommendation from the bride. What can I say, what a great choice! The welcome on check in was lovely, a real personal touch. The room (smart queen) was spotlessly clean and the complimentary water was very gratefully received. Breakfast was cooked to order and...

We stayed here for three nights and it was absolutely perfect. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful (particularly Ryan on the front desk). The beds are possibly the most comfortable we have ever slept in, in a hotel. Breakfast was amazing with so much selection and the wait staff are also really friendly. The room we stayed in was...

The hotel is clean and location is prime, but the overall experience was deeply unpleasant. I arrived at night, in the rain, lots of traffic and pulled up in front of the hotel where there is no actual parking place or loading zone -- it’s basically just a lane in busy traffic where you take your chances. There was no...

Dear TipsyBaker, Thank you for sharing your comments about your recent stay at the St. Regis with the TripAdvisor community. Your comments about feeling uncomfortable by the bellman “hovering” outside of your room in the perceived wait for a tip is very disconcerting to read. We do our best to instill in all of our employees that our guests pay...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
