This hotel is no where near the quality/amenity level of other St. Regis Hotel locations. The rooms are tiny and the furnishings are very modest, again, as compared to other St. Regis Hotels. There are no anticipated luxury touches, like overnight shoe shine or evening turn down service. The "cooked to order breakfast" was a disappointment and was not cooked...

Dear Silkboy, Thank you for your review of your stay at the St. Regis Hotel Vancouver. We are disappointed to read that you did not enjoy your stay with us, but it is important first off to note that we are not affiliated with the Starwood St. Regis chain and thus, do not adhere to their brand standards, but rather...

Just stayed in St Regis from 3rd July-5th July, after a long flight it was a relief to check into the St Regis, from initial contact everything went well with polite friendly staff, little things like free wifi, breakfast, phone calls, all helped to make our stay fantastic, can't recommend the St Regis highly enough.

My sister and I travel quite often together and we are very definitive in what we like in hotels. The St. Regis fit the bill perfectly. The location is right downtown and can't be beat!!! The room was spacious, beds were super comfy. The bathroom was large and with 2 sinks and a long vanity, we could both be doing...

The hotel is within easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants in the city centre. Plenty of public transport available which allows easy access to other areas of the city. Just a couple of blocks walk to Canada Place to get the free shuttles to Grouse Mountain / Capilano bridge attractions and others. Location makes it easy to take in...

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip. Modern hotel with friendly staff, good service, and amenities. Hotel is located 3-4 blocks from sky rail that runs to the airport – this takes about 30-35 min from the airport and is a good option especially during rush hour. There is another sky rail station one block from...

We stayed for five nights at St. Regis. We couldn't have picked a better spot! The staff are fabulous and will treat you like family. When we stayed, they had an all inclusive deal so a beautiful breakfast would be made to order and is included in the price of the hotel (same with wi-fi). The hotel is ideally located,...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
