Blue Horizon is in a great location in Downtown Vancouver. Great shops and restaurants within walking distance. Hotel itself is very clean; rooms and beds are very comfortable; staff very friendly. On-site parking available for a daily fee. Shuttle to Capilano stops here so it's very convenient.

Much more enjoyable than any chain hotel I've stayed at. I loved that the rooms had good quality full soap and shampoo dispensers rather than small bars and bottles-it made it feel like home and we weren't worried about running out for our longer stay. Lots of storage for clothes and belongings. Location is perfect. It feels safe and is great for those who don't plan on driving. We walked for every meal, lots of options, even just across the street. Loved the chrome cast option on the TV. Also loved the water bottle refill in the lobby. By photos online, I was slightly concerned that the rooms would be older and less clean, but they felt very comfortable and clean, they just decided to give their rooms more personality than what a chain would do which I appreciate. Felt like one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed at, if not the cleanest. Check in and check out was a breeze. Big fitness area and decent lap pool that didn't feel cramped when others were present. Awesome option for those who might not have tons to spend on a hotel. Only downside is that bathroom is a bit small. Still completely functional, but I could see it being a bit difficult to use for parties for 3+ that all need to get ready in there. Overall I was extremely pleased with the hotel and was sad to leave! I'd love to stay here again and I'm sure I will.

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Location was great. Right on Robson with amazing food options. 15-20 minute walk to Stanley Park and Grandville street. The views from the room were breath taking. Room was clean and well appointed. Bed and sofa were very comfortable. Hot tub, pool, and sauna were great for relaxing at the end of the day.

Front desk staff were nice, were able to get us late checkout. Had a horrible night however, walls are too thin. Could hear EVERYTHING from love making/children screaming. Tried calling the front desk and no one answered. At about 9am, couldn’t sleep anymore because of some family who kept letting their child run in and out of their room, slamming the door, and screaming. Maid service was quite rude as well, knocking on our door at 11am and telling us we should know when check out is and I said we have LATE check out, she said, “well you should know better!! Check out is now!” And I told her, “we are checking out at 12!!”

Our trip was an amazing experience and the hotel has a lot to do. It was perfectly located for our objectives. It was near to a metro station to move around the city, near to the Vancouver convention center (where we had a meeting) near to Stanley park, bus station near to go to the aquarium, near to many things! and located in a really nice street with food places across the street to eat with a variety of food, coffe shops, a minimarket really close. Also the Capilano suspended bridge free shuttle bus stop in front of the hotel. The room was nice, spaced, clean, people was really nice and kind. Thanks for everything. Oh, and it had a great view of the city.

Upgraded to an ocean view executive suite for $40/night and it was worth it! Great views, comfortable mattress and nice linens. Top notch accommodation in downtown Vancouver. Close to Joe Fortes and Nightingales restaurants. It was a 12 minute walk from the sky train-Vancouver Center stop.

This hotel was easy to get to from public transportation. Check in was easy and quick. My room was on the 21st (of 30) floor and I had a great view of the city. The bed was comfortable. I loved that there was liquid soap at the bathroom sink, and shampoo and body wash in large bottles in the shower. The shower water was very hot. The only thing that I didn't love was that the elevators took a while to get up and down, but there were three of them, so I never waited more than 5 mins. The location of this hotel is great! There are a number of restaurants and shops very close by. I felt safe walking by myself, even at night. There are also a number of public transport stops within 10 mins walk. Overall, I'll definitely return to this hotel when I return to Vancouver!
