I had the opportunity to stay at the Blue Horizon for the 3rd time in a year. As things have staying opening more this stay was even better. They follow current covid protocols and the room was clean and nice. When I needed something, like extra towels they were brought to my room in minutes. They have on site parking for a fee, which is convenient. It is also a public parking lot so be aware and don't leave anything in your car. My car did get broken into with some damage and only sunglasses and a phone charger stolen. Definitely NOT the hotels fault, just a Vancouver thing. The location is perfect, a few blocks one way to some of the best shopping. A few blocks the other way, to Denman and some awesome Restaurants! ( really, there are Restaurants around the hotel every

First of all, the location is smackdab in the middle of downtown Vancouver. Then, you have the VIEWS that are unreal. The customer service of the staff is incredible and does not go unnoticed! We always ask to stay as high up as possible, but that is a personal preference.

Reception desk manager and housekeeping manager did their best to ensure our room was as free as possible of fragrance. I am allergic to fragrances. I greatly appreciated their efforts. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The location was great.

Stayed two nights on the 14th floor. It was pleasant and a quiet room. The hotel's downtown location provides excellent proximity to major attractions: waterfront, Stanley Park, and downtown attractions, including excellent transit access. While there we saw the wonderful "Imagine Van Gogh" exhibition!.

I paid extra for a corner room with a harbour view, and I have to say that the view was incredible and worth the upgrade. The room was decent, nothing major to say about it really. Unfortunately the reception and check in experience were a bit of a let down. - On arrival, I was not notified that I needed to use my card to operate the elevator. My card wouldn’t work, but after trying it for a couple of minutes, when I got back out to ask at reception there was already nobody there. I was trying to figure out by myself how to get it to work, and eventually somebody else got in and their card worked to get me to my floor. I then realized when I got to the room that the card wasn’t working at all, so I had to go back downstairs with my bag to get a new one, call for a new card
