We stayed for 4 nights as part of a city break to Vancouver. Firstly, the location is excellent for the business district or shopping trips. It is about a 10 minute walk to the bay area and the central part of Vancouver. There are plenty of places to eat in the local area, particularly if you like Oriental or Asian cuisine. It is also conveniently located for Stanley Park, a short walk in the opposite direction to the City. The hotel is welcoming, and took us about 30 minutes in a taxi from the airport, costing about $40 Canadian. For first time visitors to the city, it is well worth it until you find your bearings. One of the few down sides to the hotel was the staffing of the reception desk. We had to wait virtually eveytime we had to use the reception service. The staff…

Fabulous time at the Blue Horizon! Checked in a little early and was super thankful to get our trip started. King room was amazing. Large sitting area with sofa and chair, perfect for visiting with our family. Beautiful windows and lots of lighting. Great view! Bathroom is small but not a problem at all. Enjoyed the nespresso and mini fridge. Kept a small creamer in the fridge that we bought at London drugs. Brought own travel mug for large coffee. Added hot water and it was perfect. Loved the pool, hot tub and especially the steam. Will be our go to hotel from now on as the location is perfect for walking and transit.

The pillows case was lots of stain on it. The bathroom was not clean properly. The front desk waited a bit longer & not friendly. After a week I checked out I still didn't received my final invoice.

Stayed for a conference. The staff made the process for my university to pay from the US very easy. The corner room was spacious. The view from the balcony was wonderful. Very clean, modern bathroom.

We stayed here for 2 nights, accepted an offer to upgrade to a corner room with the most incredible views. The room was very good, could easily have stayed longer. The location is excellent for sightseeing. We didn’t use any hotel facilities as we were out all day.

We came to the Blue Horizon to celebrate my teen's 16th with a concert and dinner. The hotel has beautiful rooms, especially the views! Our beds were so comfortable, and we were able to walk to everything.

Hotel was clean and comfortable and is in a great location for wandering downtown Robson St. We were offered an upgrade for $15/night which gave us a huge room, high floor and water view! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, has a shuttle to the Capilano Suspension Bridge which was great!

Very good location along Robson Street, shopping, sights (Roedde House, Vancouver Art Gallery) and some very good eateries are all nearby. The beds are as comfortable as all the reviewers have described. The room is very spacious, the bathroom comparatively small. The corners of the rooms are windows, with a balcony, and the heater is automated to switch off when the sliding door to the balcony is open. Many breakfast options nearby. The front desk is busy all the time and the person checking us in was all business, no smiles. Room includes a Nespresso machine, capsule and tea bags and they keep it very clean. A good choice for the area.

This is our second stay at the Blue Horizon, and it was as good as our first stay. The hotel is very nicely located in downtown Vancouver, thus permitting easy walking to lots of sights. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the maid service was excellent. Even the elevators are fast, so waiting is almost a non-issue. My wife quite liked the shower in the bathroom too! Althought our interaction at the front desk was minimal, the people working there were both friendly and efficient. We would definitely use the Blue Horizon again.
