I stayed here from 7/1-7/4. The hotel is in a great location - being new to Vancouver with a lot of sight-seeing to do in 2 days, it was centrally located and within walking distance to a lot of attractions. Lobby, check-in, rooms, customer service - all were flawless. Rooms were standard but really clean and well cared for. Versus...

We stayed here from 26 to 30 June 2015 and enjoyed our stay very much. The location is excellent and one can do a lot of sightseeing on foot. The is a Metro staton adjacent to the hotel and the public transport system is excellent. Our room was on the 7th floor, spacious, very clean and quiet. The chamber maid...

well-run hotel, super clean, worth its 4 stars! Staff works hard to keep guests happy so they will return as it is a very competitive market in Vancouver. The Hyatt is close to the waterfront, gastown, the beautiful Art Gallery and - most importantly - the shopping on Robson Street. There is a nice bar that overlooks the street and...

This is an excellent hotel, centrally located in a safe, clean area. It is close to all amenities - tourist or not. Room was a great size with good amenities and comfortable environment. Gym and workout area was good, with premium machines. I paid extra for the premium WIFI - not sure that was worth it. Staff were consistently helpful...

We were in town for World Cup and the Hyatt met our needs perfectly. Great location - lots of restaurants, stores and walking distance to BC Place. The staff was helpful. The lobby is bright, modern with large volume. Our room had good views and was bright and comfortable. (Most comfortable pillows I have had in hotels)

Had a big conference in this hotel in june, so I choose to stay there. The hotel is really very nice, rooms are clean but not really quiet. The fitness room is quite nice. The extra price for the breakfast was quite high and the breakfast was not that good! However for an upper price level the hotel is quite...

My family and I spent three nights at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver on a short getaway vacation and couldn't have been more satisfied with the experience. Check-in was a snap, they had everything all ready for us upon arrival, and because I'm a Hyatt Diamond member, I was automatically upgraded to a Club Lounge room on the 29th floor which...

We had a very nice 2-night stay at the Hyatt Regency at the beginning of our trip to Vancouver. The hotel was very sleek and modern and the rooms were very clean. We were assigned a nice quiet corner room on a high floor with views of the water and appreciated the extra interior hallway to store all of our...

The service/staff here were all top notch and the room was clean and comfortable. The wifi service was very spotty for me and some of the local attractions were huge downers (the suspension bridge, Stanley Park, etc. partly because of crowds and the terrible weather combo of heat/humidity/overcast skies) so the location was actually a negative for me. Parking was...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
