Our welcome to the Victorian was exceptional, with Julian and Ryan providing professional, friendly, helpful service. Our room 327 was small and a little noisy with courtyard trucks in the morning, but beautiful and comfortable. The shared bathroom is a great system, and was always clean. Location is perfect as long as guests are aware of the substance abuse + homelessness which dominates several blocks away on Hastings. COVID protocols are solid to support guests and staff. Would recommend and return!

Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter. Big bay windows in the street-side are nice. Some courtyard noise...

The renovations look absolutely breathtaking. The rooms are super clean and well designed. I booked the King room for one night and found the place so easily accessible. Since covid though, it looked like I was the only one there but will definitely stay again next time I'm in Vancouver for business. Highly recommend, the staff were very helpful and actually had a good sense of humour which was a breath of fresh air.

Had a great stay at the Victorian Hotel. It is newly renovated and the room, while small, was cozy and comfy, and had everything I needed, including a coffee machine and chocolate! Also included are bathrobes, an iron, blowdryer and sink. It was no problem to share a bathroom as there were a few to share, and they were all super clean and nice.

I highly recommend this hotel is you are looking to marry quality and comfort on a budget. This character filled hotel has served myself, friends and family so well over the years. Comfortable, historic and quaint it is also great value and recently renovated to give it very European Boutique feel! There is a wide range of rooms from inexpensive European “share the washroom” dorm style room to lovely king bed rooms with lux new private baths since the reno!

We walked everywhere from the Victorian Hotel: Gastown, China Town, Stanley Park, and even to one of the False Ferry stops for a hop on/off day. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, cordial and extremely helpful. COVID-19 precautions were perfect. We chose a non Legacy room with private ensuite bath and while a bit on the small side it was perfectly adequate. The king bed was wonderful. Next time in Vancouver we'll look to VH again.
