The YWCA hotel is an absolute bargain in an expensive city, with great rooms and comfy beds. We were upgraded to a room with a walkout patio. It is centrally located and the staff were lovely. Short walk to the Jam Cafe for the best breakfast. No complaints at all and your money goes to a great cause!!

Most of our time is out, so all we want is a convenient, quiet, clean, and safe location. The YWCA is all of these things in spades. The kitchenette was a huge bonus, too. We could walk to everything we wanted. And they have a very helpful and friendly staff. We always stay here when we travel to Vancouver.

Pleasently surprised of the room in which we stayed. Very clean hotel. Great location, right across the street from BC Place where we went to a game, close to restaurants and shops also. Front desk personnel were exceptional, easy and pleasant personalities.

Kia ora! This was a fantastic place to stay for my week in YVR. Central, safe and quiet although there was plenty going on nearby. It was good to have fridge and microwave in my room as well as the handy kitchens and set of cutlery and cooking gear to keep costs down a bit. About 10 mins to a major metro station and 5 min walk to one of the main streets close to museum, art, library and plenty of eating places/cafes. And very classy jazz in the next door restaurant Frankies.:) I'd definitely stay again and will recommend. I love that some of my money goes to support programmes for local women and children, its a non profit. And I took advantage of the free gym/swim Y facility not too far away 😀 and the coffee in the lobby mornings.

We needed something with no frills that was cheap and downtown -- and we got it. Two single rooms with a shared bathroom for about $100 each is the best deal in Vancouver for the light traveler. I would definitely use the YWCA Hotel again for any of my Lower Mainland day trips!

The YWCA is conveniently located with all the amenities I needed. I loved having access to a full kitchen so I could prepare food for my family. I also appreciated the fitness room so I could stick with my yoga routine. I enjoyed a good nights sleep on the comfortable bed and pillows. I would stay again!

The hotel is located at a convenient place in downtown, can easily commute to all the attractions in the city. Safe and perfect for solo travel as they lock doors at 11pm and guests can enter only with an access card. Friendly reception and housekeeping staff. Carolyn at the front desk was super accommodating of our needs, truly appreciate it. Has a good kitchen with a dining area to make your own meals, utensils are also provided on request. Truly recommend and reasonable rates, will come again!

This hotel is exceptionally warm and welcoming and helpful. My two stays were perfect! The room was clean and comfortable and the building well kept. The staff at the desk are exceptional! We found the location very handy for transport to and from the ferries and for walking. Very quiet building despite lots of people coming and going.
