A very well equipped suite, but maybe a little dark and dated. A great welcome, with a good breakfast and a very informative host with a very pleasant 'happy hour' in the garden. Free on street parking.

The Greystone is the perfect B&B and Graham is the consummate host. After you settle into your room, he invites you into the parlor for a glass of wine and friendly conversation. In the morning, we were treated to one of the finest breakfasts we have had with breads, rolls and pastries fresh and hot out of the oven, plus... More

Had a great stay at Greystone Bed & Breakfast. Beautiful, historic home in a nice neighborhood with convenient location. Breakfasts were delicious with options available to suit any preference. We had the Rose Garden Suite which comfortably accommodated our family of five. Suite was very clean, well organized, quiet and had everything a visitor might need. Owners were friendly, helpful... I had the pleasure to stay at Greystone B & B this month (May ). It was recommended to me by my daughter who lives in Vancouver. It was a wonderful experience. Graham & Lee Laxton were great hosts. The breakfasts were superb. Graham took the time to tell me the history of the home, ehich is more than 100... More

We have stayed at Greystone on a number of occasions over the years, right from the day they opened some 13 + or - years ago but this is the first time we have done a TripAdvisor on them. While back in Canada last month, we overnighted with Graham and Lee on 2 separate evenings. Their home is in a... More

Greystone B&B is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood - but very walkable to restaurants - and easily driveable to tourist destinations. We slept well; we ate well (Graham makes beautiful and delicious breakfasts); and happy hour conversations were delightful. Graham was a gracious host - we really appreciated his restaurant recommendations. We whole-heartedly recommend Greystone!

My friend and I were visiting Vancouver (my first time), and we're so glad we stayed at Greystone. From the reservation to the stay itself, everything was easy and smooth. Graham and Lee are charming hosts and provided great recommendations for places to go and how to get there. We arrived right in time for the wine hour and enjoyed... More

My mother and I just spent a three day weekend in the Rose Garden Suite of Greystone Bed and Breakfast. The suite was perfect for hosting friends for dinner one evening and one of my mother's out of town friends for an overnight visit. Graham provided a scrumptious and filling breakfast each morning and we also took advantage of Graham... More

My husband and I spent a lovely long weekend with Graham and Lee in their cozy and comfortable home. Every one of our needs was anticipated, and we felt both welcome and free to easily come and go as we pleased. The highlights of our stay were the late afternoon wine and conversation, and, of course, the lovely breakfasts. We... More

A true home away from home experience. Perfect location, well furnished bedroom and comfortable sitting room. Our host, Andrew, catered to our every need and pointed out local "scenes" to catch and, speaking of catering, created the most wonderful breakfasts - a great variety and each simply delicious. We'll definitely be staying there when we're back in Vancouver to visit... More

Staying in South Granville

Neighbourhood Profile
South Granville
The neighbourhood closest to the airport, a generous mix of locals and tourists populate the area. The blend has made it a go-to spot to find an eclectic collection of entertainment, from theatres and cinemas, to antique stores and last-minute kitsch souvenir shops. It gives off a transient vibe, and is one of the more higgledy-piggledy areas in terms of what you'll find, making it a fun area to explore and map out, all while taking in the hectic atmosphere of people coming and going, while others look for the best ways to spend their last few hours in the city.
