We stayed in the Kitsilano room which was exceedingly clean, comfortable and decorated tastefully, with a touch of whimsy. Graham, one of the hosts, obligingly organised an early check-in at short notice when we rang to ask if we could drop our bags. Also he willingly accommodated my coeliac condition when he cooked breakfasts which were always beautifully presented and...

I stayed at Greystone B&B for 4 nights and it was my first trip to Canada. The place was comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic, especially delicious pancakes and muffins!! I really enjoyed chatting with guests. Lee and Graham were warm hosts. It is also so conveniently located, with eateries within walking distance. Whenever I visit Vancouver, I will certainly stay...

Greystone B&B is a gem, a veritable oasis in a convenient but nicely quiet residential part of Vancouver. Wish I had found it years ago! Everything a traveller needs in Vancouver, comfortable accommodations and welcoming hosts.

Graham and Lee Laxton were the most gracious hosts, welcoming us to their warm and lovely home. We thoroughly enjoyed their most unexpected happy hour and Graham's wonderful stories. The breakfast was above and beyond our expectations, with a lovely assortment of fresh fruits, juices, home-baked muffins and sweets, and the best eggs Benedict we've ever tasted. They graciously offered...

This is a return visit for me and it was like coming home. Graham and Lee are warm and hospitable hosts and when Maddie dog comes over for a pat (and hopefully a cracker) then all is well. I arrived from Vancouver Island and the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal in West Vancouver and met guests that had flown in from...

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent two-day stay with Graham and Lee who extended a warm welcome to their charming home, served delicious breakfasts and provided valuable sightseeing information. An added treat was getting to know our fellow guests around the breakfast table each morning!

We stayed for 2 nights last week and found it excellent. It is in a lovely location on a quiet tree lined street but close enough to walk to great restaurants. Graham and Lee plus Maddie the dog are charming hosts. Breakfasts were brilliant, our room was super and we really enjoyed having a chat during happy hour. We had...

"This is the fourth (or is it already the fifth?) year that my friends and I have stayed at Greystone. We defintely consider it to be our 'home' in Vancouver and... 'There's no place like home'. This year I brought my 90 and 93 year old parents along and Graham went out of his way to help accomodate my Mom's...

Having recently spent three nights at Greystone Bed and Breakfast in Vancouver, British Columbia, my husband and I highly recommend this quiet and peaceful getaway. The proprietors, Graham and Lee Laxton were both welcoming and helpful as they helped us to map our days of exploring Vancouver and its surrounding vistas. Located in a quiet neighborhood with on street parking,...

Staying in South Granville

Neighbourhood Profile
South Granville
The neighbourhood closest to the airport, a generous mix of locals and tourists populate the area. The blend has made it a go-to spot to find an eclectic collection of entertainment, from theatres and cinemas, to antique stores and last-minute kitsch souvenir shops. It gives off a transient vibe, and is one of the more higgledy-piggledy areas in terms of what you'll find, making it a fun area to explore and map out, all while taking in the hectic atmosphere of people coming and going, while others look for the best ways to spend their last few hours in the city.
