I used Priceline's Express service for a recent visit to Vancouver and ended up at the Marriott Pinnacle, one of my favourite hotels, at $85 a night. As usual, it didn't disappoint. Excellent service, good food in the restaurant and a nice location. I'll be back, even if I need to pay a little more!

Nice location close to the harbour and convention centre. I had a room on a lower floor, it was a little small but still was functional. Only a weekend trip so it did what I needed. Housekeeping was OK but not perfect. Lounge was very good.

Had 3 days here and it was one of the best Marriott experiences I have had, worldwide. The staff was friendly and attentive, as you would expect, but also thoughtful and genuine. E.g. left out some kids clothes that we had washed in the sink to dry on the shower rail. Housekeeping set up the suitcase caddy like a drying...

The hotel is located just a few blocks from beautiful Coal Harbour and is very convenient to Canada Place where we were going to board our ship. We were able to walk to the ship to avoid the expense of a cab and it was easy (even for me!) to pull our luggage. You can access the ship terminal thru...

Dear Carol K, Thank you taking the time to provide us with some feedback from your stay. I apologize for your disappointment in our internet offerings. I can understand how important it is to stay connected, especially while travelling. As a managed Marriott hotel, we are still mandated to charge for Wi-Fi, with free access available in our lobby and...

Room was comfortable if not a little compact. Still plenty of room to do work at the desk provided. Safe was large enough for a laptop (barely). Room service menu was a little on the weak end for my tastes. However there are plenty of good places to eat near by. Wifi was $12 a day, not uncommon in higher...

What an amazing city Vancouver is and The Marriott Pinnacle Hotel is at a perfect location! Friendly staff, comfortable, clean rooms and beautiful views! I highly recommend! This was the second time that my husband and I stayed there and we are planning to go back for a longer stay next Spring. From Claudius greeting us at the door, Vladimir...

Recently stayed. First of all, I think it's ridiculous that they still charge for wifi service. The hotel is just OK. Lobby is pretty small and nothing fancy about it. The location is excellent and staff are friendly and nice. Overall, I think it's over priced but so are other hotels in Vancouver downtown.

My wife and I stayed there last month for five (5) nights prior to our cruise. We had a harbor view, although part was blocked by a building. However, we did get to see the view and experience the beauty. The staff was outstanding- friendly, outgoing, cheerful, and very helpful. The room was a little on the small side, put,...

The front desk staff were really helpful and very friendly. Vladimir opened a desk up to check us in as a line was building. He was attentive, friendly and efficient. By the time we parked the car, they had a crib and microwave in the room which we needed because we have a baby. The room had a great view...

The Marriott Pinnacle was a very average stay. I found their rooms to be overly-pricy and yet lack the comfort and style of other similar class hotels such as the Vancouver Sutton Place. The location of the hotel was downtown, close to many attractions and restaurants. You are right in the heart of downtown when you walk out the front...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
