Stayed in one of their rooms that had a small kitchen that came with oven,microwave,refrigerator.......including all necessary equipment needed to serve a meal. This was very useful as we stayed there for 6 days. The other plus point is the hotel is centrally located in down town within walking distance to the major shopping malls, restaurants and tourist attractions.Service by staff is good...

The Hotel is located downtown and close to the both Sky-Trains and Buses. Staff is super friendly, and the room is so clean. I love that there is a small kitchen inside the room, so you can actually cook something if you are hungry at night. The supermarket is just 3 minutes walking away and open till 12am everyday, so...

Even though we were given a room with with, the property and room are outdated. The pool area was dark and not very pleasant. Maybe a touch of floating devices for kids would be more pleasant. The price wasn't that cheap with extra for parking and extra for 3 adults in a room. They would nitpick you out of your...

Thank you for staying with us and posting our review. We are sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. We understand that add on's like parking ($17 plus taxes) and paying additional for the 3rd guest ($30 plus taxes) per night adds up on your expense and is a surprise especially if you weren't aware of it....

Stayed here on a recent trip through Vancouver and had mixed feelings. The rooms were a bit dated. The paint was peeling on the window sills and the carpets were a bit old. The bathroom could some updating. There was trash left from the previous guest in the trash container under the sink. The elevators were also really slow. However,...

Room was clean and very roomy, we had an unexpected mountain view so that was lovely! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was a touch hard for my preference but motr than enough cushy pillows made up for that. The pool was nice, I wish I had gone down earlier to enjoy the sauna and steam room, but...

You get a lot for a fair price. Good location, near Robson Street. The fitness center is pretty big and offers a lot, towels are provided. I haven't gone to the indoor pool but it looks alright and also towels are provided. The suites offer a little kitchen with an electric stove, micro wave (which is complicated to operate), oven,...

The Century Plaza is one of the centrally located old hotels in Vancouver. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The restaurant and coffee shop are among the best in the city. They offer a medical rate for those with medical treatment nest door at St Paul's Hospital.

The hotel is somewhat dated and is in need of a pick me up. Walls and carpets are worn and damaged. We went as a very large group and pre booked breakfast. It was very basic and had no variety. Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
