At first glance the room was fine. However the room temperature could not be regulated and it was way too warm for the 4 days that we were there. The bed was saggy. The TV kept cutting out on us in the middle of the program. There were people up until 4AM so did not get much sleep one night....

This hotel was located downtown near some korean restaurants. My family and I stayed here on our first night in vancouver The had a great location even though the amenities were a bit outdated. For the price though its a good stay

I've stayed here a couple of times over the past year. The location is good- 10-15 min walk from the heart of downtown Vancouver. The area is safe and lots of people walking at most times of the day. The staff are friendly and super helpful and willing to store bags during the day I've stayed in a couple of...

Hotel was clean and for the price proved to be an economic way to stay downtown. It is not quiet, I was 14 floors above street level and could clearly hear the street traffic, but traffic noise is part of the downtown experience. You can also clearly hear whenever someone flushes a toilet and/or showers, it can get quite noisy,...

My friend who is local to Vancouver recommended this hotel. It is convenient to EVERYTHING and within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. It is a bit outdated and they only have two concierges so if it's really busy you have to wait in line. Walls between rooms are very thin. The revolving restaurant was the highlight for my...

Good mid level hotel in great location with great views from upper floors. Lacking in atmosphere but compensated by helpful staff . However be warned of the terrible wifi signal in rooms which for a business visit is not great!

Where do i begin? WHAT A DIVE! you know, i wouldn't really be as judgemental of the room if the receptionist wasn't such a obnoxious whopper. Didn't catch the bald mans name but mate, you work at 3 star hotel, not the hilton or the ritz. Our arrival began with the lecture of 'you need a credit card to survive...

I had the pleasure to stay one night downtown Vancouver at the Empire Landmark Hotel, and it was the perfect choice for a budget minded solution ... The room was a bit outdated as far as furniture , bathroom amenities etc. but the bed and mattress was excellent, extremely comfortable, and the city view from the room was actually quite...

When I was preparing to visit Vancouver recently and searching for a downtown hotel I reviewed the comments already made by previous visitors some of which do not do justice to this hotel. I would stay here again for five main reasons: 1. The room was clean, well serviced with a comfortable bed and all of the usual items available...

I struggled between a 2 and a 3 for this hotel. For the price, it is completely acceptable. Would I stay here if I wasn't booked here by my work and my meetings weren't 2 blocks away? No. The lobby and restaurant are both fairly nice. The reception desk is a bit shoddy but the lobby itself was nice. The...

Staying in Robson Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Robson Street
Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs. Known as "Vancouver's Runway," if a new trend is on the rise, you'd spot it here first.
