It's simply the best hotel in Vancouver for the money. All rooms are suites and comfortable. You can walk to all of the best venues for concerts and the shopping on Robson is good. Food options are immense and you don't have to go very far for either great Asian on Robson or right across the street for fine dining...

Enjoyed my stay at the Rosedale. Concierge Andrew couldn't have been more helpful. Just a few doors from the famous Cable Car, a must for every visitor to San Francisco, which took me to the waterfront in one direction and the city centre (and the Hop On Hop Off bus) in the other.

Have stayed here before and will stay again, the service and facilities are great and the hotel is in a really good location for our needs. We were arriving quite late in the evening, about 10 pm so I emailed to let them know and got a really nice reply, I was worried our room might be gone! I love...

Dear KristyPlymouth: Thank you for taking the time to review this hotel. With regard to renovations, we had started this project last year and have completed about 1/3 of the building. We plan to start up again the first part of 2016.. We hope that during your next stay you will see a difference. Yours truly: Jim Miller General Manager

The location of this hotel wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The rooms were clean, the check in staff were nice and the concierge was ok too. I arrived after a nightmare flight from Australia and they let me use the gym shower so I could freshen up. I couldn't check in until 2, but I thought...

Another great stay at the Rosedale. Love the big suites. Beds are comfy and service is always great. We always come down for the Canucks and Canadiens hockey game and can't say anything bad about the Rosedale.

Came all the way to Vancouver to see a show. Chose the Rosedale because of its proximity to Rogers Arena. While at the airport at 1pm I called the hotel to see if an early check in was available. I was assured my room would be ready whenever I got there (check in is usually 4). So I arrived around...

Dear KimberlyRae1921: Thank you for your review. I apologize for the lack of cleanliness. We will be reviewing our procedures with our room attendants and room checkers to see where we failed. As for the registered guest discounted parking rate, that must be purchased at the front desk. The meters are for the general public and are priced higher. Yours...

Great location but the rooms are really old and uncomfortable. The bed wasn't comfy, you could feel the springs, and the comfort had an odor. The bathroom is very small unless you are solo. Unfortunately the sugar packets in the bowl had broken open and appeared to have stuff on it - dust bunnies would be the first choice, ceiling...

We stayed for 6 nights and the room is quite large for a couple. What I loved was having a kitchenette including fridge, coin operated washing machines and dryers. Customer service was good. There is a long waiting time for the lifts but not a big deal. They shouldn't advertise free Wifi because it doesn't work half the time. You...

Dear Kraz 2013: Thank you for taking the time to write a review. With regard to the WiFi, we have had to hire our own consultant to instruct both the carrier and provider on where their problems were/are. We are showing improvement in this service with more work to be done to make it run properly. Thank you for bringing...

We stayed at Rosedale on Robson the weekend on Rock 'n Roll Vancouver half marathon. We have now stayed here twice as it is nice and convenient to some of Vancouver's best shopping and dining. We were happy that all suites are equiped with mini kitchenettes. We got there early and were able to check in early with the comfort...

Came up to Vancouver to celebrate our son's 19th birthday with our family of four plus our son's best friend. Stayed in a one-bedroom with two double beds, his friend slept on the sofa bed. Fabulous view of downtown Vancouver, and great location in Yaletown. Walking distance to many great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
