The hotel is located at the eastern end of Robson Street right across from the BC Place (home stadium for the BC Lions) within walking distance of downtown and right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. It is also within 5 minutes walk from Costco and 10 minutes from three metro/ subway stations on two lines include the Skytrain from the airport. It is in a very clean and safe part of downtown although the crowd after a football game or concert can be substantial as BC Place can seat up to 54000 people. The hotel does not impress with its small, dark lobby but the rooms are exceptional. I highly recommend the suite with kitchen when available as it is the size of a small apartment with a full kitchen with two cooktops, a full size refrigerator, microwave and a dishwasher along with pots and pans, dishes and silverware for three. The living room is sizable with a sofabed and a work desk. The bedroom with a king bed is good size. Bathroom is standard Hampton Inn quality but highly functional. Lots of mirrors, closet inside and outside the bedroom and surprisingly a pair of robes I did not expect from Hampton Inn. Bed is comfortable. Pillows and beddings are fine. Housekeeping is efficient and friendly. Breakfast is college dormitory quality which is to say fair at best. But edible. Service staff is not particularly attentive but they do their job. Front desk staff are friendly. Don’t expect too much as a Hilton Diamond member as there was no acknowledgment and little upgrade. The status has lost much of its clout especially at the lower end of theHilton stacking order. Overall, this is an excellent hotel to consider especially if you have children. Just beware it can be quite expensive for a Hampton Inn due to its prime location.

Great stay in a comfortable room with 2 Queen beds. Bathroom with shower only was just what we needed. Room was cleaned every day during our 4 night stay. The included breakfast was fine. Location is very central. Bar downstairs convenient with good food. Excellent coffee shop Rocanini just one block away on Beatty St. Hotel located on Robson Street with 7/11’s, McDonald’s, Five Guys etc. Walking distance to Vancouver public library and Art Gallery. Would stay here again upon return to Vancouver.

I was honestly surprised at what a pleasant stay this was! We had 4 adults in a room and had plenty of storage space and room to move around. Beds were comfortable. WiFi was strong. Shower had good pressure and hot water.
Breakfast was meh….but they usually are. There was coffee/tea available all day long and one of the floors had filtered water you could use to refill bottles.
Fridge and kettle available.
Location is great. Right next to stadium and easy walk to restaurants and to the shuttle for Capilano.
Prices were crazy high, but it was a good pre-cruise option.

Spent three nights in a double queen room at this hotel. The room itself was clean but felt cramped with all the furniture. It had a lingering scent, likely from cleaning the carpet, but nothing unbearable. Beds and pillows were comfortable, which was a plus. However, the walls are so thin that I could hear my neighbors’ conversations and movements. The bathroom was standard, with okay water pressure but no retractable showerhead. Elevators were frustrating—only two for the entire 15-floor building. The best part of the stay was breakfast—great variety, fresh food, and well-stocked options. Also, the front desk staff was great and allowed early check-in, which was a nice touch. Would consider staying again.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn Downtown Vancouver was fantastic! The hotel is in a prime location, conveniently close to the Science Museum, Rogers Arena, and BC Place, making it perfect for exploring the city. The room was clean and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family. The breakfast was delightful, with a variety of fresh, hot options that catered perfectly to both kids and adults. The staff were warm and welcoming—Leah, in particular, went above and beyond to make us feel at home with her friendly and accommodating demeanor. One small suggestion for improvement would be to include complimentary bathrobes and slippers to enhance the overall experience. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we’d happily return!

Stayed here for a night on business with a group of 5 people. I got a corner unit facing the stadium. The room was large and clean, staff was great and friendly. There is a complimentary breakfast here and the food was hot and fresh.
There is a nice and quiet pull-through area to unload luggage, and the closets also come with an umbrella hanging inside. I travel a moderate amount, and for $250 I'd say one of the best hotels I've stayed at for this price.

A great location, we were attending the ShenYun Performance at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre that was a short walk away. We stayed in a corner King unit so there was wrap around floor to ceiling windows. here was LOTS of plug outlets and USB charging ports. The washroom had a large walk in shower. We had a comfortable sleep The breakfast the next morning was good, there was lots of items to choose from as I would expect from a Hilton property. Parking was expensive and was additional to the room charge $36 but it was nice to have my vehicle secured underground while we walked to where we needed to be. Staff were professional and showed a good level of customer service
I would recommend this location and I would stay here again

I booked a room for the Lainey Wilson concert in September over the phone with their reservation company. The agent originally gave me the pricing in USD, which I have a US number but live in Canada so understandable. I checked my visa right after booking to realize it was a lot more then I intended to spend on a hotel so I called back within 20 mins of my booking to cancel. Spoke to another agent who confirmed my cancellation and that I would receive my refund. I still hadn’t seen my refund so called back the day we were heading to the concert to confirm that yes we are being refunded. The agent said no the cancellation has not been made and it is now past the date where I can cancel. I let the agent know that I have already booked a new place to stay and that I indeed already canceled on the same day I booked. He looked through the system and say oh yes I did cancel but there was an error in the system (obviously not my fault). I again stated I would not be coming to this hotel as I have another hotel booked to which they said ok yes we have opened an investigation and will refund you soon. Cut to went to the concert (she was great) to the second cheaper not very nice hotel. Did not come to this hotel, called back and spoke with another agent who told me my cancellation was denied because it was past the cancellation……. So not only did they not cancel my reservation they also charged me for the whole night and still haven’t rectified the issue on their end. Wow terrible customer service and I will be opening an investigation through my cc. Do not book with their reservation desk via phone they are HORRIBLE. My photos show the two calls as well as the reservation. The second call was to cancel. Yep still waiting on my refund.

Spent 3 nights at the Hampton Inn. It is in a good location. Very near several restaurants.
The breakfast provided was great. They even had gluten free bread and the attendant was aware of what hot foods were gluten free.
Arnold was the restaurants attendant who assisted us all 3 mornings and he was wonderful. Arnold was very friendly and cheerful, he came and chatted with us every morning to make sure we had everything we needed.
Our room was very nice and clean, the bed was very comfy and the pillows were perfect.
The hot tub on the top floor with a scenic was a nice end to the evening.

Last time I did Uber, it was about $40. If you do not have a lot of luggage, the Sly Train from the airport is less than $10. Take it to Vancouver City Center station and walk east about 5 or 6 blocks on Georgia to Cambie or Beatty and take a right. Hotel is right there on Robson.
There are more places to choose from in the Vancouver area.
