Visited for one night. When I'm on a quick business trip I'm looking for friendly service, a comfortable bed, and a quiet room. This hotel provided all 3. The lobby was under construction, which unfortunately meant no business centre and a printer would have helped, but acknowledge this is just temporary and the renovations look good. If you need to...

The hotel's lobby was under renovation while I was there. Not very pleasant experience and nothing in the website at the time of booking indicated I was booking in a construction zone. Nevertheless, I was given a room upon arrival in the morning and was able to rest after a long flight to Vancouver. The room had a balcony, which...

Working in Van for a few days, stayed at this Holiday Inn at the suggestion of a coworker. Excellent sleeps, great restaurant, clean room, comfortable bed, and underground parking. I will stay here again if I'm back here.

The location is great, the bed was wonderfully comfortable pillows and all. That being said it did not make up for the fact we listened to slamming doors all night, found blood on the sheet and woke up early to children's chatter through the vents. I am not picky when it comes to hotels, but I am most certainly picky...

Good hotel, typical Holiday inn, interior a bit dated but is currently undergoing renovations. Breakfast and dinner was good, I suggest the buffet if your over cooked breakfasts. 15 minute walk to main shopping areas. $35 cab ride to Airport from hotel. Staff friendly and helpful.

We liked our stay because the staff were really friendly, the bedroom was nice with a comfy bed, good value for money and good location - in my next trip to Vancouver I'll stay there again with my family.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown Vancouver. As mentioned before the hotel is undergoing renovations which is fine it really didn't disrupt our stay to be honest its not hard to walk around it or take the lift instead of the stairs etc. From what we saw this hotel will look really nice and fresh when they do...

Location is good and the staff are friendly no complaints there however,I would have been ok with the construction in the hotel as I understand the need for renos and building maintenance. Except for there was no disclaimer when I booked ahead and simply felt ripped off paying full price for a hotel that was undergoing major construction. We had...

Not much going on in the area of the hotel. Staff are nice, but nothing stands out. I booked a car though their in-hotel car rental company which was really expensive compared to Avis, but at least they had a car immediately for use. The massage is way over priced and just average.

Good day ahmed061986, Thank you for the feedback from your visit. It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy the massage. Your experience is not consistent with the feedback we receive regarding the Altum Spa. If you have specific concerns from your appointment please feel free to contact Cynthia at info@altumspa.ca Sincerely, Tanner

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
