1 night stay, double chargement from the man named MASA in the front desk! Force me to make another other and refused to cancel my primary order! Marked my primary order as no show! Even I still stay in this hotel now! I stayed in one room but should pay double! By the way, MASA is a really rude man... More

Good day Kyle Jiang Y, Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately the reservation did not meet our hotel policies. Our policy precludes us from checking in a 16 year old. Our minimum age to check in is 19 years of age, this is noted online and was advised when the check in was being attempted. Masa is a well respected,... More

This is a return to this motel. As I have commented previously, the location is just fantastic. It is close to bus routes and close to restaurants and only a few blocks away from the shopping centers. The staff are very polite and very knowledgeable of the attractions to go and see and nothing is too hard for them to... More

We stayed in Vancouver for 5 days. Overall I have no complaints about this hotel. We got a great price per room on Hotwire. King room with large couch. Very comfortable. My only complaints are the same as pretty much every hotel: horrible pillows, weird room lighting, not the best shower. Bonus: the pool is open 24 hours. It's also... More

The staff are wonderful people. Room was great for what we needed. Within walking distance in downtown Vancouver to restaurants, theaters and clubs. Four stars for the staff. I hope the idiot who stayed on Room 710 on November 19th. You are a rude angry drunk. You punched a hole in the wall of your room at least three times.... More

Good day Colette K, I appreciate you taking the time to write a review. The events that unfolded during your stay were disappointing to say the least. I am sorry that the events of others impacted your stay. The way the events played out with the occupants did require us to call in the VPD to expedite a resolution. It... More

Things I liked: 1) Location 2) Price - Great deal 3) Holiday Inn brand 4) Kids eat free Things I wish were better: 1) 1st room had a mouse in it (saw it as we walked in the room). I am sure this is a more common problem than people realize, but none the less it is not a good... More

Our room was on the 6th floor. Lifts are small and a little slow but worth the wait. Lovely big room which was clean and has an opening door onto a small balcony. Lounge, fridge, kettle, iron and board, king bed, comfy pillows, ticks all the boxes for me. Room for bags and cases and has a reasonably priced restaurant... More

Great to walk from sky train when you land at airport. Just a 18 min walk. Starbuck right corner. Restaurants in easy walking distances. Great staff really helpful. Clean rooms good night sleep. Small bar in lobby if you don't feel like going out. Serve a solid breakfast. Fast easy check in and out.

Good hotel in a good location in Vancouver. Right next to Yaletown which has some great bars and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. Room was comfy but the only thing I didn't like was that the sink was outside of the bathroom, bit odd! We had breakfast included in our rate, which was quite poor, but I suppose it... More

Clean hotel in a good location (very close to most attractions) and it had secure parking. Service was adequate. The rooms were rather small. The most annoying issue was the loud elevator. We stayed for 3 nights and on our first night, we were right beside the elevator. This was a problem for anyone who is a light sleeper. The... More

Stayed for 4 days before a cruise. Good location and easy walking to various restaurants. Hop-on trolley / bus and bus links very close. Clean hotel, quiet with friendly, helpful staff throughout. Nice breakfast / lunch area near main lobby. Special thanks and Kudos to Donna and Jesse in breakfast area for good service and many chuckles during our visit.... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
